PRESTORY:
The opening contest comes from a challenge made by Angel Blue. At the Great American Bash, Blue was eliminated from the women's battle royal by Serena Deeb. Now, Angel challenges Serena in hopes of proving herself as well as climbing back up the rankings.

AFTERSTORY: Serena catches Angel by surprise for the victory! Serena gains momentum heading into the upcoming Queen's Cup tournament while Angel will be looking for another way to get another shot at the title.

PRESTORY: Kotaro Suzuki was scheduled to face Yoshinobu Kanemaru in a match of top contenders in the junior division. However, Kanemaru complained of still suffering from injuries after the last man standing bout last month against AJ Styles and would not compete. Kanemaru would end up replaced by Austin Aries, who came to the ring promising that he would prove to still be the best. Aries, a former multi-time junior champ, would now face the most
recent former junior champ in Kotaro Suzki!

AFTERSTORY: Aries proved himself as he set out to do with a big and impressive victory over Suzuki. Aries seems to have made it clear that if he wants to challenge again for the junior championship, he will do just that.Aries left the ring with Malenko & Shelley with his hands held high in victory.

AFTERSTORY: Big Show with another dominant squash. After the match, Show was attacked by Curtis Axel, who challenged him to an impromptu title defense! Show accepted and a second match for him was on..

PRESTORY: Last month we saw Raven's Flock triumph over the Horsemen in War Games. Now the Horsemen are looking for a little bit of retribution as Barry Windham and Jeff Jarrett challenge Saturn & Kanemura to a tag team battle!

AFTERSTORY: The Flock gets one over on the Horsemen again! Could it be a sign of things to come later in the night? The Horsemen are desperate for a victory and it could all come down to Flair's hardcore deathmatch defense later on!

PRESTORY: In preparation for the 2013 Queen's Cup an eight woman tag was set including some of the biggest rivalries in the division! Hamada & Gail Kim join Nevaeh and Mercedes Martinez to go to battle with Madison Eagles & Kana alongside Ivelisse & Rain in what promises to be a blockbuster tag bout.

AFTERSTORY: Hamada puts down Ivelisse in a big victory for her team. Ivelisse rolled out of the ring after recovering and left on her own, frustrating that her partners did not come to her aid as the winners celebrated in the ring.

PRESTORY: Last month, CM Punk continued to ride momentum coming off the Road 2 GAB tournament with a victory over Daniel Bryan. Now a challenge comes from someone who was also impressive in the tournament, former champ Randy Orton. Orton and Punk meet in a battle of top contenders!

AFTERSTORY: The Viper strikes Punk in a major way, picking up a somewhat surprising victory over the recently red hot Punk. Orton now looks to climb back up the rankings, hopeful for a future shot at the title once again.

PRESTORY: Following the exciting conclusion of the Great American Bash's womens battle royal, a match was signed between the final two combatants, Athena and Jessie McKay. Athena pinned McKay at the Bash and the two shook hands afterwards but now they would meet one on one at Final Burns!

AFTERSTORY: Athena does it again and picks up some more major momentum heading into the Queen's Cup tournament. Athena is right there at the top of the rankings of the women's division now and is anxiously awaiting her next shot at the championship.

PRESTORY: The Great American Bash's exciting conclusion saw the Flock defeat the Horsemen in War Games. The finish saw Toru Owashi take down Tully Blanchard. Impressed by the performance, Raven told Owashi that he would be the one to earn a shot at Ric Flair's hardcore deathmatch championship. Owashi was excited for the opportunity and promised to bring the title back to the Flock by destroying the Nature Boy. Flair could be in for one of his biggest fights yet in the hardcore deathmatch ring!

Hardcore Deathmatch Championship Match: Ric Flair def. Toru Owashi (16:47) after a delayed vertical suplex to RETAIN the championship!!
AFTERSTORY: Flair continues to pull out the shocks! Just when it looks like he's backed into a corner, he finds a way to win despite the unlikely fit in the hardcore deathmatch ring. Owashi was left alone in the ring feeling disappointed as Raven and the rest of the Flock watched from a distance. Raven is not giving up on his quest to recapture the title but Flair's next defense remains to be decided.

PRESTORY: At the Great American Bash, Jack Swagger came up short in his bid for the world championship but things would not end there for him that night as Antonio Cesaro ambushed the champion Stone Cold Steve Austin immediately following the match. The ensuing beatdown led #1 contender Genichiro Tenryu down to the ring to make the save and thus set up a tag team match between the new tandem of Swagger and Cesaro against the unlikely duo of would-be opponents, Austin and Tenryu. Swagger & Cesaro picked up the absolutely huge tag team victory there. A victory so massive it earned them a shot at the tag team champions at Final Burns!

World Tag Team Championship Match: Hulk Hogan & John Cena def. Jack Swagger & Antonio Cesaro (17:10) when Hogan CRITICAL'd Cesaro with the Leg Drop to RETAIN the championships!!
AFTERSTORY: The champs keep on rolling even past the huge momentum of Swagger & Cesaro! Despite a tough battle, Hogan's leg drop spelled victory for the champions. Cesaro and Swagger will no doubt be looking for a way to keep themselves in the picture after failing to capture the tag titles here along with Swagger being unable to capture the world title. Hulk and Cena have enjoyed a hell of a year and will await their next challenge.

PRESTORY: Sara Del Rey finally accomplished her longtime goal of becoming FPR Women's Champion at Bloodlines with an extremely impressive four way victory. Sara's reign would not last long as Daizee Haze recaptured the gold at the Great American Bash. Now the two bitter rivals will meet once again with the title on the line at Final Burns!

Women's Championship Match: Daizee Haze def. Sara Del Rey (12:15) after the Cashed Out to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY: Daizee once again triumphs over Del Rey! Sara was irate after the match, upset that she was unable to win back the title and that she suffered another loss to Daizee. Del Rey screamed in the ring demanding a rematch. It remains to be seen if she will get it but the division continues to heat up with the Queen's Cup and Daizee on top.

PRESTORY: At the Great American Bash, AJ Styles took out Yoshinobu Kanemaru in a brutal last man standing match that was his last step on his road back to the junior championship. Styles became the number one contender and will now face the man who beat him for the title at WrestleMania in Robert Evans. Evans came out of a series with Kotaro Suzuki as the champion and now Final Burns has its junior championship showdown set!

Junior Championship Match: Robert Evans def. AJ Styles (14:58) after a lariat to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY: Styles gave it his all but could not come home with the gold! Robert Evans continues to surprise everyone as he picks up another huge victory and retains his junior championship. Styles was clearly dejected after coming through the last several months to earn a shot at the title only to come up short. Now he'll have to earn another shot as Robert Evans remains FPR Junior Champion.

PRESTORY: Genichiro Tenryu won the King of the Ring tournament back in April to earn his shot at the FPR Worlds Heavyweight Championship. Since then, he fended off Austin Aries attempts to take his spot and last month saw tensions rise when Tenryu teamed up with champion Stone Cold Steve Austin. The unlikely alliance ended up on the losing end of a tag team battle setting the stage for the two to face off in the main event at Final Burns!

AFTERSTORY: Stone Cold remains unbeatable leaving no clearcut number one contender. After the match, Austin Aries jumped to the ring and hit a 450 splash on the fallen Tenryu! Aries yelled at Tenryu that it should've been him in the match, obviously still miffed that he was unable to defeat Tenryu on two occasions earlier in the year. Aries stood over Tenryu as the show came to a close.


©FPR Final Burns 2013. FPR's next event will be the Ultimate Encounter with matches to be determined along with the finals of the Queen's Cup 2013. The event will be the final event before (can't believe it's already been a year) FPR's most interactive event of the year, the eighth annual Cyber Saturday! Ultimate Encounter sets the stage for Cyber Saturday and beyond!
