PRESTORY: With the ongoing rivalry in the Junior Division between top contenders coming out of the Survival of the Sickest match that nearly went one hour, the two sides continued to battle. Now an almost-rematch from SOTS would take place, only with each side having one less member for an elimination six man tag. Austin Aries leads the Resistance of himself, Dean Malenko, and Alex Shelley to battle against their rivals Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara, & Billy Kidman in what promises to be another explosive chapter!

AFTERSTORY: They got the revenge they were looking for without a doubt with a clean sweep. Austin Aries raised the arms of Shelley and Malenko as the Resistance stood tall in the end. All six competitors will be competing in February's Super J Cup and word has it there will be a gauntlet match at January's Royal Battle as a preview to the J Cup.

PRESTORY: One of the most impressive teams coming out of the women's tag team beat the clock challenge was Annie Social and Melanie Cruise. They had the time to beat almost all the way through before having it beat in the end. Their impressive victory was over former tag champions Jamilia Craft and Claudia, who were more than displeased with the defeat. Craft and Claudia challenged Social and Cruise to a rematch for Final Showdown..

AFTERSTORY: Another loss for Craft and Claudia could not be a good thing for them. And sure enough it wasn't long before their tempers began to flare and an argument started. But before things could escalate further, Social & Cruise decided to ambush their already defeated opponents from behind. They put to the boots to the fallen Craft & Claudia until Jessica James & Sumie Sakai ran down for the save. Those two teams then went at it. Sakai dropkicked Melanie Cruise out of the ring and then dove out onto her. Sakai and Cruise brawled to the back while The Beautiful People hit the ring and attacked Jessica James from behind. Annie Social decided to sneak away from the scene. It was a 3 on 1 beatdown as Madison Rayne hit the Raynedrop on Jessica leading to Su Yung rushing to the ring with her partner Tracy Taylor, who debuted in the beat the clock challenge. Madison Rayne fled the scene as the two teams now fought with one another. When chaos finally settled this all led directly into the next bout..

AFTERSTORY: After a long back and forth battle, the Beautiful People duo of Maryse & Brittney used their tag team experience to gain the win with a double team. Madison Rayne rejoined her cohorts on the stage to raise their arms in celebration of their victory. The Beautiful People stand tall after a chaotic order of events.

PRESTORY: After his dominant victory over Kaz Hayashi at Eve of Destruction, Kurt Angle was feeling confident and issued an open challenge. That challenge was accepted by John Morrison, looking to make a name for himself and the match was on..

AFTERSTORY: Angle picks up another win in a great match that saw Morrison push Angle's limits a bit. Angle and Morrison then shook hands. After the match, Angle promised big things are ahead for him in 2013.

PRESTORY: Two of the hottest free agent prospects signed by FPR made their debut in the beat the clock challenge for the women's championship. Those two were Ivelisse Velez and Arisa Nakajima, who debuted against one another. Both stars were instantly impressive but were not able to beat the clock, however the output delivered in the ring from both competitors had everyone craving more. So a rematch was signed to take place at Final Showdown.

AFTERSTORY: What a match! Ivelisse picks up the major victory and looks poised to launch herself into stardom as she moves up the ladder. Meanwhile, Nakajima was as impressive as ever even in defeat. She'll be sure to strive to keep herself in contention as well. It will certainly be interesting to see both women's careers grow in FPR.

PRESTORY: Two men that went at it in the Beat the Clock challenge were Brock Lesnar and Triple H. That match was an all out war with weapons abound that left a bloody Triple H in defeat. Lesnar didn't beat Triple H quick so his time didn't last long and the clock was beaten. As a result, The Game wanted revenge and challenged Brock to a rematch.

AFTERSTORY: Reminiscent of their first match with Lesnar's victory and plenty of brawling around the ring. Triple H repaid Lesnar by busting him open but it wasn't enough to keep Brock down as he was able to put the Game away. Both men look to enter next month's Royal Battle in hopes of earning a title shot.

International Championship Match: The Big Show def. Chris Masters (16:23) via colossal clutch submission to RETAIN the championship!

Hardcore Deathmatch Championship Match: Abdullah the Butcher def. Necro Butcher (9:48) with the running elbow drop to become the NEW Champion!
STORY: Necro's reign didn't last long and Abdullah is once again back on top of the Hardcore division. Abdullah beat the clock and then beat the champ to win the title. The fight wouldn't end there as Abdullah and Necro continued to brawl even after the bell had rung. They fought up the aisle where Mick Foley came out and joined in the chaos. The three of them brawled to the back while Raven's Flock were seen watching from the balcony area.

Octagon Championship Match: Bob Sapp def. Kazushi Sakuraba via KO (punches) at 3:15 of round 1 to RETAIN the championship!

PRESTORY: The rivalry between Angel Blue and Mercedes Martinez has been ongoing for months. It all began back in September when Angel picked up a major pinfall over Mercedes in an eight woman tag match. Mercedes wasn't happy with that and demanded a rematch which she got at Halloween Havoc. There, Mercedes defeated Angel in a unforgettable encounter that caught everyone's attention. At Survival of the Sickest, Mercedes' team was victorious but it didn't settle anything between the two captains. As a result, Angel was now the one wanting a rematch and she got it at Eve of Destruction. Mercedes was once again victorious but Angel was even more impressive than their first bout, proving she could take it all and keep coming when she kicked out of the first fisherman's buster. Now, Angel Blue was vowing that she could and would defeat Mercedes. And so they were set for a 2/3 falls rematch at Final Showdown!

AFTERSTORY: This one was one of the all time great 2/3 falls match in FPR history! The first fall was on-par with the greatness of their last two bouts and Mercedes picked up the crucial fall but in the second fall, Angel battled back with a vengeance and scored the pin to force the rare third fall to take place. The two went back and forth for the final fall with Angel nailing an out of nowhere Deja Blue for the victory she has been after for quite some time. Angel celebrated the victory and was clearly elated to finally beat Mercedes one on one. Mercedes knew that Angel got her this time around and she also knew she picked up the first fall. Angel may have earned some of Mercedes' respect but one can assume this grudge is far from over. Angel left the ringside area with her arm raised in victory but in obvious pain as well. We can only look forward to what happens next between these two.

Junior Championship Match: AJ Styles def. Petey Williams (11:50) with the Styles Clash to RETAIN the championship!!
STORY: The beat the clock for the Junior division was an intense tough one but in the end it was Petey Williams beating the clock in the last match in the lineup to earn the shot. Petey put up a hell of a fight but in the end, Styles proved why he is the champion and finished off Petey with the Styles Clash. Styles is enjoying quite the reign as he looks ahead to the future, the Super J Cup looms in February which will decide the challenger for WrestleMania - a tournament which AJ Styles won in 2012.

PRESTORY: Kelly Kelly shocked the world when she took down Beth Phoenix in record time to beat the clock and truly earn women's championship shot against Victoria. Kelly had been vying for a shot for awhile now and she proved she deserved it, earning it over several other top challengers. Would this be Kelly's moment?

AFTERSTORY: Unfortunately for Kelly, her dreams were crushed by the eleven time champ. But it was not without a valiant fight. In fact, Victoria used the ropes en route to her victory. Kelly proved to be more of a challenge than perhaps expected and Victoria knew she'd have to pull out all stops to keep her title. Kelly proved to be tough but it wasn't enough to win the title this time around. Kelly will undoubtedly be looking for another shot but for now she'll have to resume fighting the top contenders. Meanwhile, Victoria's next title defense comes against Queen's Cup winner Daizee Haze, who has been on a major hot streak lately, at the Royal Battle.

PRESTORY: At Eve of Destruction, Power Warrior & Genichiro Tenryu accomplished their year-long goal and became the new world tag team champions, ending the seemingly unstoppable reign of the Midnight Express. The celebration and the crowd reaction were massive. Now it was up to beat the clock to determine the new champs' first challengers. Unfortunately for the Midnight Express, they were unable to do it and in the last match of the set, it was the super team of Hulk Hogan & John Cena that took down the Horsemen members Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard to beat the clock. Hogan & Cena would surely be a major challenge for the new champs in their first defense and it all takes place at Final Showdown!
World Tag Team Championships Match: Hulk Hogan & John Cena def. Power Warrior & Genichiro Tenryu (12:10) when Cena used the Attitude Adjustment on Power Warrior to become the NEW Champions!!
AFTERSTORY: Controversy Abound!!! Just like that we have once again crowned new tag team champions in a shockingly quick ending to the first reign of Power Warrior & Genichiro Tenryu. But the whole match is mired in controversy. Towards the end of the match, the Horsemen's Arn & Tully began making their way to the ring. But they were quickly spotted by the challengers. Hulk & Cena went out to battle them. Meanwhile on the opposite side of the ring, the former champs Midnight Express hopped out of the crowd. They pulled Tenryu from the ring apron and threw him against the guard rail, then went into the ring and leveled Power Warrior with a steel chair and one of the tag team titles. Not knowing what had happened, Cena returned to the ring and hit the AA on Power Warrior to win the match and the titles! Arn & Tully were furious that their plan had gone awry while the Midnights have seemingly adopted the attitude that if they don't have the titles, then they'll make sure those who beat them don't either. Granted the Midnights would've been in line for a rematch had Power Warrior & Tenryu retained here but maybe revenge is the only thing on their minds now. Regardless, Warrior & Tenryu will now be getting their rematch at the Royal Battle while Arn & Tully have challenged the Midnights to a grudge match. It will be without a doubt an interesting night as the chaotic tag team scene heats up.

PRESTORY: At Eve of Destruction, Marti Belle & Jazz overcame one of their toughest challenges to date against the Jumping Bomb Angels. But their obstacles wouldn't end there as perhaps an even tougher challenge would await. The lethal tandem of Madison Eagles & Kana beat the clock to earn the tag titles shot. Eagles wants gold and Kana wants redemption from her loss at Eve of Destruction. This match would certainly be a way for them both to be thrilled but the champions promised to put up the fight of their lives at Final Showdown!
Women's Tag Team Championships Match: Marti Belle & Jazz def. Madison Eagles & Kana (24:20) when Jazz pinned Eagles after the Jazz Stinger to RETAIN the championships!
AFTERSTORY: The champions retained! Somehow, someway, they found a way to overcome the vicious challengers as Jazz nailed consecutive Jazz Stingers on Eagles to get the win. Eagles and Kana were in disbelief and enraged at the same time. Especially Kana, who shockingly suffers back to back defeats. Eagles & Kana have vowed to now earn another shot to try and become champions. It's also possible that Kana's mind was still on Eve of Destruction. Either way, they will have to earn their next shot in a contenders match at the Royal Battle. And it's just been announced that their opponents will be the team of Serena Deeb and Jessie McKay! That will be a match with a ton of heat going into it and it will be a must see battle!

PRESTORY: The Horsemen managed to beat the clock. Jeff Jarrett was able to earn a shot at the world title with a questionable ten minute victory over rival Big Bubba Rogers. The Horsemen used their tactics to ensure victory. They interfered in a couple of the other beat the clock matches to make sure things stayed the same. Not to mention perhaps their biggest obstacle was Bruiser Brody, who planned a return after a years long absence, but they jumped him in the parking lot to take him out of the equation. Jarrett's win granted the Horsemen what they had been after, a shot at one of the championships and it just so happened to be the top prize. A championship held by Stone Cold Steve Austin, who has been seriously unbeatable as he celebrates one full year as champion and is poised to hold the longest reign in championship history very soon..
Worlds Heavyweight Championship Match: Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Jeff Jarrett (13:48) to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY: It bears repeating, Stone Cold Steve Austin is unbeatable. Jarrett gave it his all and hit the Stroke twice but it wasn't enough. Jarrett was stunnered and that was that for his championship aspirations. With Jarrett down and Austin standing tall, the rest of the Horsemen surrounded the ring. Out came new tag champions Hulk Hogan & John Cena to brawl to the back with Arn & Tully, leaving Flair & Windham at ringside. Then suddenly "Rocket" hit in the arena and out came Brian Pillman! Pillman nailed Windham with his Money in the Bank briefcase as Flair took off through the crowd. Pillman entered the ring and squared off with Austin before announcing he was going to do what the Horsemen could not do - defeat Stone Cold! Pillman declared he was cashing in his money in the bank title shot right now!
Worlds Heavyweight Championship Match: Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Brian Pillman (11:43) to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY: He can't be beat! After a war that left both men bloody, Ric Flair returned from the crowd and Windham regrouped at ringside to cause a distraction. That was all it took for Austin to nail the Stunner and end Pillman's dream that he had waited for all year long. Stone Cold has been champion for over 365 days and will be the longest reigning World champion in company history come Royal Battle. Pillman has announced his entry into the Royal Battle in hopes of winning another shot at Mania after he came so close here. Last WrestleMania was a banner night for Pillman winning two huge matches in one night and he hopes to duplicate that success. On the other hand, Flair has elected Windham to be the Horsemen representative in the Royal Battle with the rest of the participants to be determined. It will be an intriguing event to say the least! Final Showdown will be remembered as one of the most out of control and chaotic events in FPR history and a wild end to a fantastic year. 2013 will mark ten years of fire dating back to the origins as FPZ in June of 2003 and if 2012 is any representation, it will be another exciting year.
