FPR Final Burns
August 29, 2015
Theme Song: Call Atlantis - "Past Regrets, Future Threats"

Adrian Neville def. Billy Ken Kid (10:13) with a sunset flip
STORY: Neville gets the win in a battle of top contenders in the junior division as both men long for a shot at the championship

Super Crazy def. Little Guido (15:11) with a victory roll
STORY: Super Crazy gets a measure of revenge on Guido following last month's tag team loss. It was said that Tracy Smothers was not in the building, however after the match he came down to ambush Crazy only to get chased out of the arena by Sabu! No doubt that Sabu will be waiting for revenge on Smothers at his earliest opportunity.

Daizee Haze def. Serena Deeb (12:37) after an enzugiri
STORY: Daizee gets Serena back for last month's battle royal elimination and proves without a doubt that she will remain at the top of her game and the division.

Octagon Championship Match: Bob Sapp(c) def. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueria via KO (Beast Bomb) at 3:50 of round 1 to retain the championship

International Championship Match: The Big Show(c) def. Ryback (4:42) with the running elbow drop to retain the championship

Hardcore Deathmatch Championship Match: Abdullah the Butcher(c) def. Kane (16:51) after the samoan drop to RETAIN the championship!
STORY: This turned out to be an absolute war! As endless challengers continue to try and dethrone the Butcher, he remains the champion for now. After the match, many expected another Horsemen attack but not this time following War Games. The Shield still showed themselves as they continue to have Abdullah's back regardless. The Butcher however looks to reward the Shield in his own way for their War Games victory by offering a title shot to any one of the three members!

The Road Warriors def. Antonio Cesaro & Jack Swagger (21:15) when Animal pinned Cesaro with a powerbomb
STORY: Hawk and Animal pick up a huge victory in a battle of the top two contenders to the tag team championships. No doubt both teams feel slighted in their own ways by the Midnight Express and they want shots to get the championships back.

Bret Hart def. John Cena (17:52) with a victory roll
STORY: The Hitman bounces back from his championship loss and proves to still have the number of fellow former champ John Cena, who he beat for the gold earlier this year. Bret will get his rematch against the winner of tonight's main event at the Ultimate Encounter next month.

Women's Tag Team Championships Match: Marti Belle & Jazz(c) def. Sara Del Rey & Kellie Skater (18:36) when Jazz pinned Kellie after a leg drop to RETAIN the championships
STORY: Marti & Jazz always a find a way to stay on top and tonight they vanquished one of their biggest rivals decisively. At the Ultimate Encounter, they will issue an open challenge for the gold to find new challengers.

Junior Championship Match: Matthew Palmer def. Hideo Itami(c) (13:03) with a victory roll to become the NEW champion!
STORY: The series continues between these two as Matthew Palmer regains the gold! As they continue to go back and forth, this will be settled at the Ultimate Encounter in a 2/3 falls match for the junior championship!

Women's Championship Match: Ayako Hamada(c) def. Paige (13:24) with a hurricarana to RETAIN the championship!
STORY: Hamada successfully defends her championship against Paige for a second time but it was one hell of a battle! Paige put up a huge fight and was on the verge of shocking everyone several times. Paige came closer than many would have imagined and proved that she is on the level of the champion. Since ending the legendary reign of Daizee Haze, Hamada has looked dominant for sure but Paige feels she has what it takes to topple her. While Paige is not able to receive another title shot, she has challenged the champion regardless to meet her one more time at the Ultimate Encounter inside of a steel cage! Hamada accepted the challenge while sending a warning to Paige about what she's getting into. Meanwhile, the 2015 Queen's Cup will be looming as well which is the tournament that ultimately led Hamada to her championship victory.

World Tag Team Championships Match: The Midnight Express def. Satoshi Kojima & Shinjiro Otani(c) (25:24) when Lane pinned Otani after a lariat to become the NEW Champions
STORY: After the Great American Bash, we thought Kojima & Otani looked primed and ready to completely take over the tag team division but somehow, someway once again the Midnight Express found a way to pull off another one. The Midnights regained the championships and will now have to defend against Kojima & Otani at the Ultimate Encounter in a rematch, leaving other top challengers waiting in the wings.

Worlds Heavyweight Championship Match: Hulk Hogan(c) def. Samoa Joe (14:09) after a piledriver to RETAIN the championship!
STORY: Hulkamania continues to run wild, curbing the momentum of Samoa Joe who had been on a hot streak since the King of the Ring tournament. Joe was clearly disappointed in defeat but left the ring to allow Hogan to celebrate his victory. Hulk will defend in a rematch with Bret Hart in the main event of the Ultimate Encounter. From there, everything will depend on if Cyber Saturday takes place this year where the fans decide the future and fate of all things FPR.
