Last month at Survival of the Sickest, we witnessed an even more
vicious side of Kana. Kana brutalized her archrival Gail Kim with three
kicks to the head that knocked her back out of action and then avenged
her first defeat by knocking Ayako Hamada out as well. Serena Deeb, who
scored the only elimination for their team in that match, vowed to stand
up for her fallen friends by challenging Kana to a one on one bout.
Many questioned the move with Deeb's own history when she herself was
injured shortly after her debut back in mid-2011 but Serena was
confident and determined. Jessie McKay would accompany Deeb to the ring
for her showdown with Kana that would take place at Eve of Destruction.
Serena was focused and determined while Kana was poised to maintain her
mean streak for what promised to be a memorable matchup.

AFTERSTORY:
Serena did it! Against all odds with an inspirational performance,
Serena put up a valiant fight against Kana and caught everyone by
surprise by defeating Kana decisively! After Kana controlled the
majority of the match, Serena mounted a major comeback and just kept
coming. Serena threw everything she had and eventually connected with a
superplex that left Kana dazed. As Kana slowly returned to her feet,
Serena drilled her with one perfectly timed elbow right to the face that
dropped Kana in a heap to the mat as the final blow. Serena followed up
with a cover and scored one of her biggest victories to date! Jessie
McKay, who cheered Serena on from ringside all match, was quick to pull
Deeb from the ring to safety and they celebrated up the ramp with their
hands held high while Kana began to recover in the ring in disbelief.
Kana will likely remain deadset on revenge but Serena did exactly what
she set out to do and avenged the beatings dished out to Gail and
Hamada. And Serena & McKay along with Gail & Hamada couldn't be
happier with the victory. What a feeling!

was no fluke by putting down Aries clean in the center of the ring in a
spectacular match that saw both men put it all on the line. Aries landed
a 450 across the back while Styles connected the Spiral Tap only for
Aries to reach the ropes. In the end Styles was able to drop Aries in
the center for the win. After the match, Alex Shelley & Dean Malenko
rushed the ring to spoil AJ's celebration. Shelley and Malenko put the
boots to Styles after an ambush from behind. Aries got back to his feet
and joined them. The trio posed with their arms raised until Sin Cara
came to the ring with Rey Mysterio. Aries, Shelley, and Malenko bailed
as they checked on Styles in the ring. The junior division continues to
heat up as all will be vying to beat the clock to earn the next shot at
AJ's championship.

finished. However now at the end of the year, they've battled back
through everything for one more shot! The Midnight Express would have to
prepare for another enormous challenge while the challengers geared up
for a make or break situation. It all came down to this, a blockbuster

Midnight Express to capture the FPR World Tag Team Championships. They
had defeated practically everyone imaginable after coming out on top in a
64 team league and now a 32 team tournament that there is no doubt they
earned and deserved this moment. After a close back and forth fight, it
was Power Warrior's lariat that knocked Bobby Eaton silly and put him
down for the count. The crowd erupted in cheers for the new champions.
They couldn't ask for a better last two months after Power Warrior's
unforgettable Survival of the Sickest comeback, the tag tournament win
and now capturing the gold. After the match, the Road Warriors and
others hit the ring to join the celebration, holding up the new
champions who proudly raised their newly-won championships. The
Midnights were out of it on the outside and now the first challengers
