Christopher Daniels def. AJ Styles (15:14) with a rolling prawn hold
STORY:
Daniels had made the challenge to AJ Styles and picked up the huge
victory against Styles who was a recent #1 contender in the junior
division. Daniels' win will also give him big momentum heading into next
month's unpredictable event, Cyber Saturday.
PRESTORY:
Eight of the most impressive women coming out of the 2012 Queen's Cup
were selected and put into an eight woman tag team match. The match
would include all four of the Queen's Cup debuts. Mariko Yoshida's
anticipated debut was foiled by Meiko Satomura, who had an impressive
run up to the semi finals and they would meet again on opposite sides of
the ring here.

Match: Angel Blue, Mariko Yoshida, Kimber Lee, & Yumi Ohka def.
Jessica James, Meiko Satomura, Su Yung, & Mercedes Martinez (28:57)
when Angel pinned Mercedes with the Deja Blue
AFTERSTORY:
Angel Blue picks up the win with a huge pinfall on the recently signed
Mercedes Martinez, who was impressive in her debut. Angel's win will no
doubt propel her up the rankings while Mercedes will be out for revenge
in the future. All eight were determined to gain momentum heading into
Cyber Saturday and the match delivered on that front.
PRESTORY:
Final Burns saw Angelina Love & Victoria team up to defeat Nevaeh
and Kelly Kelly. All four are vying for top contenders spots. Kelly
challenged Victoria to a match, so Angelina and Nevaeh were paired up to
face off with one another.

AFTERSTORY:
Nevaeh gave it all she had but it wasn't enough as Angelina busted out a
powerbomb to put her away. Nevaeh has been fighting for another shot at
the championship while Angelina is out to prove it should be her next
in line.
Octagon Championship Match: Bob Sapp def. Wanderlei Silva via KO (punches) at 1:27 of round 2 to RETAIN the championship!
STORY: Bob Sapp remains unstoppable. It's up to you to decide his next challenger at Cyber Saturday 2012!
PRESTORY:
After the tag team match at Final Burns, Kelly Kelly challenged 10 time
women's champion Victoria to a one on one bout. Kelly looked to
capitalize on her momentum from the Great American Bash battle royal
while Victoria is determined to prove she's still on top of her game.
Victoria def. Kelly Kelly (20:47) with a firemans carry into a jackknife cover
AFTERSTORY:
Despite an impressive effort, Victoria puts Kelly down for the count.
Both now will look to Cyber Saturday to make their next statement, where
it will be up to the fans to decide who competes in all the action
including the women's championship bout and contenders battle royal.
PRESTORY:
Sara Del Rey avenged her loss to Jessie McKay through questionable
means at Final Burns but the grudge will not end there. Also at Final
Burns, Madison Eagles teamed with Kana in a victory over Gail Kim and
Hamada which was also not throught traditional means. At The Ultimate
Encounter, Sara Del Rey will join up with Eagles to take on McKay and
Serena Deeb!
Serena Deeb & Jessie McKay def. Sara Del Rey & Madison Eagles (25:36) when Serena pinned Del Rey after a jab combo
AFTERSTORY:
Deeb pins Del Rey in a major victory for her and McKay. The match was a
back and forth battle that either team could've won but Serena and
Jessie prevailed in a measure of retribution from War Games and from
Final Burns.
PRESTORY:
Heading into the seventh annual Cyber Saturday event, it was announced
that last year's Cyber Saturday main event would take place here at the
Ultimate Encounter. Last year, fans voted John Cena to receive the world
title shot at then-champion Randy Orton. Since then, both Cena and
Orton have failed to recapture the championship and will meet each other
here on the last stop before Cyber Saturday.
John Cena def. Randy Orton (9:07) via Attitude Adjustment CRITICAL
AFTERSTORY:
Cena makes a big statement with an emphatic victory over Randy Orton.
Cena will be vying for another shot at the title next month which will
be determined by the fans votes. It remains to be seen whether or not
Randy Orton plans to reprise his Legend Killer Challenger this year
after being the defending champion last year.
PRESTORY:
Former tag team partners Rain and Lexxus have been going at it for
months now. Rain picked up the victory in their first meeting back at
the Great American Bash. Lexxus evened the score at Final Burns and now
the two would settle things in a two out of three falls match!
2/3 Falls Match: Lexxus def. Rain (27:11) 2 falls to 0
*Lexxus pinned Rain (20:28) after a facebuster
*Lexxus pinned Rain (6:43) with a high cross body
AFTERSTORY:
Despite Rain dominating the early going, Lexxus was able to take
advantage of every opportunity and ended up defeating Rain in two
straight falls. Lexxus left with her arms raised as the victor while
Rain recovered in the ring to applause for her effort. Both women will
look to remain in the title hunt now and their paths could cross again
in the future.
PRESTORY:
At Final Burns, Marti Belle and Jazz won back the women's tag team
championships, ending the miracle run of Claudia & Jamilia Craft
quickly. Claudia and Craft would get their rematch at the Ultimate
Encounter in what is billed as the final showdown between the two teams
as the winners take the titles into Cyber Saturday where the fans choose
the next challengers. Could Craft & Claudia regain the gold or
would Belle & Jazz put a stop to them? Time would tell at the
Ultimate Encounter!
Women's Tag Team
Championships Match: Marti Belle & Jazz def. Jamilia Craft &
Claudia (22:00) when Jazz pinned Claudia after the Jazz Stinger to
RETAIN the championships!
AFTERSTORY:
Claudia & Craft were unable to have lightning strike twice. Belle
& Jazz win the match and keep the titles heading into the big Cyber
Saturday event. Claudia remained down after the loss as Craft checked on
her fallen partner. As Claudia came to, she was in disbelief that they
had lost their shot at winning the titles back. Craft tried to calm her
down as she followed her to the back.
PRESTORY:
During a tag team match at Final Burns, Kana knocked out her rival Gail
Kim with a vicious head kick to cause an early stop to the match. Gail
would be put on the shelf with injury, while her tag team partner that
night Ayako Hamada swore revenge for her fallen partner. Hamada
challenged Kana to face her one on one at the Ultimate Encounter!

AFTERSTORY:
Hamada came out with a vengeance and managed to hand Kana her first
defeat since debuting earlier this year! Kana could not believe the loss
and the two continued fighting after the bell. Officials separated the
two and Kana quickly fled the scene as things cooled down.
PRESTORY:
Barry Windham started a grudge when he suddenly assaulted Big Bubba
Rogers in a post-match beatdown at the Great American Bash, aligning
himself with Ric Flair & The Horsemen. Windham would meet Big Bubba
in a grudge match at Final Burns. Bubba got a measure of revenge by
defeating Windham that night. After the match, Flair and Jeff Jarrett
provided a distraction to allow for another post-match beating. This
time, Brian Pillman came to the rescue and sent the Horsemen running. As
a result, a tag team grudge match was signed for the Ultimate
Encounter!
Barry Windham & Jeff Jarrett def. Big Bubba Rogers & Brian Pillman (20:20) when Jarrett used a half crab on Bubba
AFTERSTORY:
In a wild brawl, the Horsemen came out on top. Pillman and Windham
battled to the back as Jarrett forced a bloody Big Bubba to pass out en
route to victory. Jarrett gloated over his victory at ringside while
Windham and Pillman never returned from their fight. The battle went in
as a grudge initially between Bubba and Windham but things seem to have
changed course by the night's end.
PRESTORY:
The 2012 Queen's Cup was another very exciting edition of the annual
tournament in it's 4th year. This year saw several debuts and even more
impressive performances. In the end the finals would come down to two.
On one side of the bracket, 2010 winner Daizee Haze returns to the
finals after once again defeating Meiko Satomura in another classic bout
between the two in the semi finals. Daizee's opponent in the finals
would be Ayumi Kurihara who took many by surprise with her impressive
run through the other half of the bracket, most notably including a
major victory over Sara Del Rey in the semi-finals. Now it was down to
two and Daizee Haze looked to become the first two time winner of the
tournament while Ayumi looked to stake her claim for a future title
shot. The culmination would take place at the Ultimate Encounter!
Queen's Cup Finals: Daizee Haze def. Ayumi Kurihara (9:56) after a facecrusher
AFTERSTORY:
Daizee does it again! Daizee continues her roll and big win streak with
a Queen's Cup victory over Ayumi in impressive fashion. Haze will
likely have a future title shot in store as she hopes to capture the
championship that's evaded her thus far in her career. Ayumi's effort
will surely not go unnoticed and she will remain in the hunt as well.
Daizee celebrated around the ring with her trophy as Ayumi recovered.
The two shook hands in the ring afterwards while the crowd applauded
both.
PRESTORY: At
Final Burns, Austin Aries caught everyone off guard when he stunned
Prince Devitt in relatively quick fashion to put an end to his
impressive title reign as junior champion and hand him only his second
defeat. Devitt was in disbelief following the match while Aries
proclaimed that he was taking back the division he once ruled. Devitt
would get his rematch at the Ultimate Encounter
Junior Championship Match: Austin Aries def. Prince Devitt (11:31) after a steam roller to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY:
Aries does it again and pins Prince Devitt! It looks as though Aries is
back in top form for real. Devitt was again upset by suffering another
defeat. The next title shot is up to the fans as Aries' next challenger
will be determined via the vote at Cyber Saturday. Depending on the
vote, Devitt may find himself having to fight for another shot. Cyber
Saturday will also feature the annual cruiserweight battle royal that
crowns the next number one contender for Halloween Havoc.
PRESTORY:
Athena regained the womens' championship at Final Burns from Madison
Rayne after initially losing the title in a triple threat match. Athena
was determined to keep hold of the title and prove Rayne's victory over
her was purely luck. Madison would get her rematch for the championship
at the Ultimate Encounter. Whoever wins the match will go on to Cyber
Saturday to defend the gold against whoever the fans vote.
Women's Championship Match: Athena def. Madison Rayne (13:19) with a small package to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY:
Athena has proven without a doubt that she is the rightful women's
champion! Athena cements her reign with a second victory over Madison
Rayne. It was a tough battle that proved to be a challenge and towards
the end of the bout, Rayne's Beautiful People cohorts attempted to
interfere but it backfired and inadvertantly led to Athena grabbing the
small package victory. Athena will now take the women's championship
into next month's unpredictable battlefield known as Cyber Saturday. You
decide who she defends against next!
PRESTORY:
Stone Cold Steve Austin toppled the world's strongest man at Final
Burns as he continued his dominant reign as world champion. After the
bout, Ric Flair appeared and laid down a sudden challenge to Stone Cold
for the title. Austin had no problem accepting the challenge and vowed
to stomp a mudhole through Flair then go on to Cyber Saturday as the
defending champion to take on anyone in the world!
Worlds Heavyweight Championship Match: Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Ric
Flair (10:00) after a lariat to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY:
Flair tried the few tricks that he could manage but in the end, it was
once again Austin standing tall. Stone Cold will now head into Cyber
Saturday as the defending world champion where the fans will decide on
who his next opponent will be. Austin's been completely dominant all
year long but now will be unable to prepare for his opponent. It will be
surely exciting to see just who gets chosen as the new number one
contender at the event!
