Low Ki def. Matt Palmer (11:46) with a top rope sunset flip
STORY:
A rematch from the Super J Cup, Palmer made the challenge hoping to
avenge his prior loss but it was not to be despite being in control at
various points of the match. Low Ki caught Palmer by surprise with a
sunset flip off the top rope to secure the victory.
PRESTORY:
The Canadian Ninjas have been in a slump since losing the women's tag
team championships, while the tandem of Jamilia Craft and Claudia lost
their shot at greatness at WrestleMania. Both teams are striving to
climb back up the ladder and were put against each other to see who gets
their first.
Jamilia Craft & Claudia def. The Canadian Ninjas (17:10) when Craft pinned Nicole with a victory roll
AFTERSTORY:
Craft and Claudia prove that they are still in it to win it while the
Ninjas continue their losing streak. Jamilia and Claudia hope to earn
another title shot at the champions with their big victory over the
former champions here.
KING OF THE RING - [The Final 16 Bracket A]
Mark Henry def. Ric Flair (11:17) via CRITICAL
MVP def. Billy Gunn (16:35) after a lariat
The Rock def. Chris Jericho (12:35) after a neckbreaker
Randy Orton def. Sid (9:25) via RKO CRITICAL
ROUND NOTES:
Mark Henry was dominant in putting down Ric Flair. MVP was impressive
in his return to action while The Rock put an end to Chris Jericho's
title shot aspirations for now. Perhaps most impressive of the matches
was Randy Orton's definitve finish over his ex-ally Sid.
PRESTORY:
In a special attraction bout at WrestleMania, Bob Sapp was upset by
Clubber Lang for the Octagon Championship. Sapp would get his rematch at
Breakout
Octagon Championship Match: Bob Sapp def. Clubber Lang (4:23) via 1st Round KO after a tackle to become the NEW Champion!
AFTERSTORY:
As is the usual case, Sapp wins back the championship in the rematch.
With both fighters now 1-1 there will likely be a rubber match at
Redemption.
KING OF THE RING - [The Final 16 Bracket B]
Vader def. Kurt Angle (11:40) via single leg crab submission
James Storm def. Jerry Lawler (13:09) with a victory roll
Lord Tensai def. Bret Hart (12:42) with the Baldo Bomb
Triple H def. Wade Barrett (16:47) after a facebuster
ROUND NOTES:
The Great Muta, who Kurt Angle defeated in the untelevised Round 1,
returned to cost Kurt his 2nd round match to Vader. Kurt had gone up to
the top rope to perform a moonsault only to be blinded by Muta's mist
which allowed Vader to chokeslam him back down to the mat. James Storm
made a name for himself in his victory over Jerry Lawler. Lord Tensai
was impressive in his debut while Triple H inched closer to a title
shot.
PRESTORY: When
Marti Belle & Jazz defeated the Canadian Ninjas at WrestleMania, it
was clear that they were back in the title hunt and wanted a shot at the
titles they once held. They challenged the champions, who felt that
Belle & Jazz needed a bit more before challenging for their
championships. Lexxus and Rain agreed to a non-title match with the
stipulation that Marti and Jazz would receive a shot at the titles if
they could defeat the champions.
Non Title Match: Marti Belle & Jazz def. Rain & Lexxus (13:52) when Jazz pinned Lexxus after the Jazz Stinger
AFTERSTORY:
Belle and Jazz were successful in rather quick fashion! The win grants
the former champions a shot at the titles which will take place at
Redemption. Rain and Lexxus were clearly irate at their loss and hope to
hold on to their titles come Redemption.
KING OF THE RING - [Elite Eight]
Mark Henry def. MVP (15:23) after a short arm clothesline
Randy Orton def. The Rock (15:27) after an inverted backbreaker
Vader def. James Storm (15:14) with a powerslam
Triple H def. Lord Tensai (16:12) after a high knee
ROUND NOTES:
Mark Henry and MVP renewed a past rivalry that saw Henry come out on
top. Randy Orton continued his hot streak with a major victory over The
Rock. Vader downed James Storm but not without a fight. The Game showed
his true determination when he overcame Lord Tensai.
PRESTORY:
At WrestleMania, Sabu came out of the chaos of the hardcore battle
royal with the championship. Former champ, Abdullah the Butcher called
for his rematch and wanted his belt back as soon as possible..
Hardcore Deathmatch Championship Match: Abdullah the Butcher def. Sabu
(9:39) with the running elbow drop to become the NEW Champion!
AFTERSTORY:
Abdullah regains his gold, putting an end to Sabu's short reign. Sabu
will be coming back for a rematch in hopes to stay alive in the title
picture.
PRESTORY:
After coming up short in WrestleMania's 4 way, the #2 and #3 contenders
for the Women's Championship square off at Breakout to determine the
next number one contender. Athena who has been on a roll as of late
battles Nevaeh who has also picked up several big wins.
Athena def. Nevaeh (12:15) after ramming her into the turnbuckles
AFTERSTORY:
A highly competitive back and forth battle saw Athena come out on top
in the end. Nevaeh had Athena on the ropes but Athena was able to send
her crashing into the turnbuckles to secure the pinfall. Athena will
face the winner of the upcoming women's championship match at
Redemption!
PRESTORY:
At WrestleMania, The Big Show was victorious in a battle with a bear but
at the conclusion of the match it was The Great Khali making his
presence felt and his intentions known that he was challenging the Big
Show for the International Championship. And so the match was signed for
FPR Breakout!
International Championship Match: The Great Khali def. The Big Show (13:45) after a chokeslam to become the NEW CHAMPION!!!
AFTERSTORY:
In the battle of the giants, Khali puts an end to Show's latest year
long reign as champion! It was considered by a most still to be a huge
upset to see the title finally change hands once again. Great Khali
celebrated around the ringside with his new championship.
PRESTORY:
In the leadup to WrestleMania, Sara Del Rey wanted competition and she
got it in the form of Ayako Hamada. Hamada took it to Del Rey and
defeated her at WrestleMania in a top-notch bout. Del Rey was quick to
demand a rematch and it was signed for Breakout!
Sara Del Rey def. Ayako Hamada (10:10) with a powerbomb
AFTERSTORY:
Del Rey got her rematch and made true on her promise to avenge her
Mania defeat. It was a hard fought battle but this time Sara was able to
come out on top and put Hamada down for the three count. FPR Management
has decided to inject fellow top contender Serena Deeb into the mix for
a triple threat encounter at Redemption!
PRESTORY:
With Ultimo Dragon overcoming Super J Cup winner AJ Styles at
WrestleMania, the next title shot went to the next in line. Impressive
newcomer Prince Devitt was the runner up in the J Cup and gets his title
shot at Breakout!
Junior Championship Match: Prince Devitt def. Ultimo Dragon (16:05) with a german suplex to become the NEW Champion!
AFTERSTORY:
Prince Devitt caps off an incredible first few months in FPR by
capturing the junior championship! Devitt puts an end to the several
months long reign of Ultimo Dragon. The two will meet again in an 8 man
tag team match on an upcoming tour before Ultimo gets his rematch at
Redemption.
KING OF THE RING - [Semi Finals]
Mark Henry def. Randy Orton (10:01) with a choke bomb
Vader def. Triple H (9:34) with a big splash
ROUND NOTES:
The two big men advance to the finals despite the superb efforts of
both Randy Orton and Triple H who have proven themselves as top
contenders to the championship. Henry meets Vader in the finals later
tonight!
PRESTORY: Last
month at WrestleMania, Jiggle-O James Johnson and Julian Caesaro
accomplished their months-long goal of becoming the tag team champions
for the first time. Their victory came on their third attempt and was a
true WrestleMania Moment. The Midnights get their rematch at Breakout
and they are out for blood and out to regain the tag team championships.
World Tag Team Championship
Double Elimination Match: The Midnight Express def. Jiggle-O James
Johnson & Julian Caesaro (19:20) to become the NEW champions!
*Eaton pinned Johnson (12:20)
*Lane pinned Caesaro (19:20) after Eaton used a low blow
AFTERSTORY:
After using literally every trick in the book, the Midnight Express
recaptured the tag team championships. Using the ropes, foreign objects,
the referee, match restarts, and ultimately low blows, the Midnight
Express are once again the champions, putting a quick end to Johnson and
Caesaro's title reign. The Real World Tag League is on the horizon
while a final encounter between these two teams is in the works.
KING OF THE RING - [The Finals]
King of the Ring Finals: Mark Henry def. Vader (9:51) with a running big splash to win the tournament!
AFTERSTORY:
A triumphant return to the scene of Fire Pro for the Worlds Strongest
Man as he dominates the competition. Vader rode his WrestleMania
momentum all the way to the finals but in the end it was Mark Henry
getting the three count and winning the crown. Henry will now be in line
for a title shot come August.
PRESTORY:
At WrestleMania, Madison Eagles put an end to a legend of the FPR
Women's Division while Jessie McKay won a four way bout to become #1
contender to Madison's title. Eagles and McKay have a long and storied
history including two big-time bouts over the past several months in
FPR. McKay earned a shot at the title and would now attempt a third time
to defeat Eagles. Eagles has vowed to become the most dominant women's
champion of all time. Could "Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend" find
championship success or would "The Punisher" remain on top of the
mountain?
Women's Championship Match: Madison Eagles def. Jessie McKay (14:23) with a backslide to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY:
Madison was able to put Jessie down again but not without a heavy
fight. McKay came close on several occasions but in the end it was
Madison Eagles catching her by surprise to retain her gold. Now she
looks ahead to Redemption where she faces the ever-impressive number one
contender, Athena, in what promises to be a top-notch bout for the
belt.
PRESTORY: Stone
Cold Steve Austin put an end to John Cena's title reign at the end of
last year and has dominated ever since. Cena went without his rematch
for the next several months and then at WrestleMania, Cena defeated
Randy Orton to once again become the #1 contender. Now Cena would get
that shot and his chance to win the title back from Austin.
Worlds Heavyweight Championship Match: Stone Cold Steve Austin def. John Cena (6:31) to RETAIN the championship
AFTERSTORY:
Unfortunately for Cena, he met the same fate as he did at Final
Showdown. Austin's next challenger will be determined on FPR's upcoming
tour in a match between King of the Ring standouts and former world
champs, Randy Orton and Triple H.
