PRESTORY: Throughout the month of May, FPR saw the 6th annual Real World Tag League take place and when it came to the first grouping, Block A, there was a tie for first place as both former champs Team 3D and allies of the Road Warriors, Power Warrior & Genichiro Tenryu scored 26 pts and so they would face off to determine who would get the number one spot.
Real World Tag League Block A Tiebreaker: Genichiro Tenryu & Power Warrior def. Team 3D (16:19) when Power Warrior pinned Ray with the Volcano Eruption
AFTERSTORY: Tenryu & the Power Warrior reign supreme in a highly impressive victory over the often dominant Team 3D. They become the official winners of Block A and would now go on to face Block B winners The Hardyz.

PRESTORY: With Victoria recently being in a slump after suffering a string of losses and Nevaeh trying to keep her hot streak in tact, a match between the two top contenders was booked for FPR Redemption..
Victoria def. Nevaeh (25:05) via surfboard stretch submission
AFTERSTORY: These two put on an absolute classic! In the end, the 10 time champion was too much for the younger star. Nevaeh gave it her all and took several Widow's Peaks, refusing to stay down. Ultimately, Victoria bridged Nevaeh into a surfboard submission to secure the victory. Victoria got the win but just barely, and so a rematch between the two is already in the works. Victoria has vowed to remain on top of her game as she has been a prominent feature in the women's division perhaps longer than anyone, dating back to the inception as she was the first ever women's champion and has held the belt more than anyone. Nevaeh has continued to impress and she did not disappoint in the slightest here. She will have to come back more prepared than ever to combat Victoria in the rematch.

PRESTORY: Jamilia Craft & Claudia have turned out to be quite the formidable duo and since suffering the ultimate heartbreak in defeat at WrestleMania, they have been taking on all comers in hopes of earning another shot at the women's tag team championships. They downed former champs the Canadian Ninjas at Breakout and now they'd take on relative new team, Alicia Fox & Latasha.

AFTERSTORY: Craft & Claudia keep on rolling and are sure to be catching everyone's attention as they vie for another shot at the gold.

PRESTORY: At Breakout, Mark Henry became the 2012 King of the Ring. The World's Strongest Man got himself a guaranteed title shot come August. Also in the King of the Ring, James Storm delivered a couple breakout performances. After the tournament's conclusion, Storm challenged the new King to a match, believing he could topple the big man. Henry gladly accepted and promised to inflict pain on the Cowboy.

AFTERSTORY: Henry sure did deliver on his promise as he decimated Storm and left him laying. After the loss, Storm was checked on by doctors backstage for any injuries. Despite the damage, Storm still believes he can defeat Henry and has stated that he wants another shot at the King. That may not be a good idea but the Cowboy is determined and the match is being considered for Bloodlines next month.

PRESTORY: On the other side of the Real World Tag League, Block C was won by Dr. Death Steve Williams & Dennis Condrey, the proxy for the Midnight Express. The Midnights' aim was to get their cohorts to win the League so they could get away with not defending the titles at Bloodlines. Their opponents would be Block D winners, Harlem Heat, who were highly impressive throughout the league.
Real World Tag League Semi Final: Harlem Heat def. Dr. Death & Dennis Condrey (14:56) when Stevie Ray pinned Dr. Death after a neckbreaker
AFTERSTORY: Harlem Heat put a stop to the goals of the Midnight Express by defeating the strong duo of Dr. Death & Condrey. Harlem Heat would now advance to the finals of the League!

PRESTORY: As seen earlier in the night, Power Warrior & Tenryu won the A Block and now would go on to face Block B winners and former tag champs, the Hardyz!
Real World Tag League Semi Final: Genichiro Tenryu & Power Warrior def. The Hardyz (13:19) when Power Warrior pinned Matt after a lariat
AFTERSTORY: The dominance continues as Power Warrior delivered a deadly lariat to Matt Hardy en route to victory. They advance to the finals where they will have to have their third match against Harlem Heat who had been on fire all throughout the league. Only one team would come out victorious as the League winners!

PRESTORY: Ayako Hamada and Sara Del Rey had been going at it tooth and nail over the past month. Their rivalry began with Sara asking for competition and she got just that with Hamada. Hamada defeated Del Rey at WrestleMania only for Sara to come right back and beat Hamada at Breakout. With both women even, FPR management threw a curveball by tossing Serena Deeb into the mix for a triple threat bout!
Triple Threat Match: Ayako Hamada def. Sara Del Rey & Serena Deeb (13:35) when Hamada pinned Del Rey with the spinning powerbomb
AFTERSTORY: Hamada scored the pin on her rival in this hard-fought battle. Serena watched the fall from ringside as she recovered on the outside of the ring but was pleased to see Del Rey go down with the storied history them two have dating back last year. After the match, Serena and Hamada shook hands then went face to face with a brief exchange of words. Word has it, the two agreed to meet each other again in the ring - this time one on one!


Octagon Championship Match: Bob Sapp def. Clubber Lang via 2nd Round KO (1:49) after a reverse powerbomb to RETAIN the championship!
STORY: The rematch had the usual outcome as Sapp has regained his title and held on to it. Sapp's next challenge is to be determined.

PRESTORY: Last month, the Great Khali shocked the world when he ended the International Championship reign of the Big Show that had lasted nearly an entire year. Big Show was irate and gets his rematch at Redemption.
International Championship Match: The Big Show def. The Great Khali (16:59) via surfboard submission to become the NEW Champion!
AFTERSTORY: Big Show regains his title much like Bob Sapp at Breakout. Khali and Show will have one more rematch at Bloodlines with a stipulation attached.


Hardcore Deathmatch Championship Match: Abdullah the Butcher def. Sabu (9:33) after a throat thrust to RETAIN the championship!
STORY: Abdullah proves Sabu's title win was a victory of luck in the battle at WrestleMania as he defeats him soundly in back to back matches to reclaim and hold on to the deathmatch championship.


8 Man Battle Royal: John Cena def. Triple H, Chris Jericho, Hulk Hogan, Kane, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, & The Rock (31:37)

STORY: 8 top contenders were chosen at random to be placed in a battle royal and John Cena overcomes the odds to prevail once again! It seems as though every time Cena suffers defeat, he bounces back in bigger ways. The final two battle between Cena and The Rock was an intense one and the two are likely to meet again soon.

PRESTORY: Marti Belle & Jazz have bounced back in the women's tag team ranks in a major way these last few months. Tag champs, Rain & Lexxus, promised to make Marti Belle & Jazz earn a shot at their titles and that's exactly what they did when they defeated the champions last month at Breakout in a non-title bout, which earned them the shot tonight at Redemption!
Women's Tag Team Championships Match: Marti Belle & Jazz def. Lexxus & Rain (22:51) when Marti pinned Rain after a double dropkick to become the NEW Champions!
AFTERSTORY: And they keep on rolling as they become 2 time tag team champions! It was an all-out brawl for sure that the champions did everything they could in to hang to the belts. The ending saw Lexxus down and bleeding on the outside while Marti & Jazz used a tag team finisher of a double dropkick to earn the victory. Rain and Lexxus will be looking for their rematch but for now Marti & Jazz will enjoy the championship belts as the women's tag scene continues to grow.

PRESTORY: It was time for the Real World Tag League finals. Power Warrior and Genichiro Tenryu battled through two tough teams already earlier in this night to get here while Harlem Heat had an impressive victory themselves. The two teams endured it all to make it here and only one can claim the trophy and next month's tag team title shot!
Real World Tag League Finals: Power Warrior & Genichiro Tenryu def. Harlem Heat (15:01) when Power Warrior CRITICAL'd Stevie Ray
AFTERSTORY: The tandem of the Power Warrior & Genichiro Tenryu are for real and a proved themselves here as a huge threat. They win the trophy of the 2012 Real World Tag League and will now go on to face whichever team walks out of tonight as the champions. No doubt that these two have their eyes on the gold now heading into Bloodlines.

PRESTORY: In the first round of the 32 man King of the Ring tournament, Kurt Angle defeated the Great Muta in a 30 minute classic to advance to FPR Breakout. The match was widely praised and a rematch was highly anticipated. As Angle advanced on, he faced Vader. Angle looked to have the match won but when he went to the top rope, Muta arrived to greet Kurt with green mist to the eyes. The mist blinded Angle and allowed Vader to pull Kurt down with a chokeslam to secure the win. Muta had prevented Angle from advancing and created a definite rematch that would take place at Redemption!

AFTERSTORY: These two went at it right from the get go as the intense hatred had fueled. Muta got the victory, cleanly to the surprise of some. Muta delivered the moonsault first across the back of Angle before delivering a second one to secure the pinfall. No doubt that Kurt will still be out for revenge against Muta and he wants a rematch.

PRESTORY: At WrestleMania, Julian Caesaro & Jiggle-O James Johnson accomplished their months long goal of overcoming the Midnight Express and winning the FPR World Tag Team Championships. It was a true WrestleMania Moment to see them succeed on their third attempt. Unfortunately for them, the Midnights were quick to regain the titles a month later using underhanded tactics in a double elimination tag bout. Now the two teams would meet one last time in a 2/3 falls tag match for the titles billed as the Final Battle between the teams as a definitive end to the rivalry!

AFTERSTORY: A hard fought battle that easily could have gone either way sees the Midnights just barely pull out the victory. They get past their longtime rivals to hold on to the gold but their celebration might not last long as they will now go on to defend against Genichiro Tenryu and the Power Warrior at Bloodlines which could be an impending doom for the champions judging by the results from the tag league. Either way, that match will be sure to garner a ton of interest surrounding the tag team championships.

PRESTORY: Valentine's Massacre saw the out of nowhere debut of Kana as she ambushed Gail Kim following a match. The attack led to a big-time bout at WrestleMania that saw Kana come out victorious in her debut match over the former 2 time women's champion. Gail took some brief time off following the loss and then announcd she was challenging Kana to a rematch at Redemption!

AFTERSTORY: Their second battle was an absolute classic and a surefire match of the year contender! Gail gave it her all and came extremely close on numerous occasions to managing to defeat Kana but in the end Kana was able to lock in the Kanalock for the submission victory. Gail had avoided the hold all match before ultimately falling prey to it. Kana has quickly made a name for herself in FPR and has proved her dominance but Gail Kim is refusing to let go of the grudge and she is now looking for a third match with Kana.

PRESTORY: Since debuting in the Super J Cup, Prince Devitt has shot to the top by making it to the finals and then upsetting Ultimo Dragon for the Junior Championship earlier this month at Breakout. Devitt's become an overnight sensation with the junior title and now Ultimo Dragon would get his rematch for the gold.
Junior Championship Match: Prince Devitt def. Ultimo Dragon (25:08) via Devitt's End submission to RETAIN the championship!!!
AFTERSTORY: Back to back classics on this event as Devitt and Ultimo pulled out all the stops! Near fall after near fall as both men threw everything they had at one another including several finishers. Both men refused to stay down until Devitt caught Dragon by surprise, rolling through into the Devitt's End to force Ultimo into submission and retain the championship!

PRESTORY: Athena has been on a huge roll for months. Her growth started back in September when she came up short in her first shot at the women's championship but she would avenge that loss this past February when she defeated the 10 time former womens champ, Victoria. The win skyrocketed Athena back up the rankings and after a victory over Nevaeh at Breakout, she became the #1 contender to the title. The title held by Madison Eagles, who has been dominant since winning the Queen's Cup last September which led to her championship victory and subsequent major victories to hold on to the title. Now Athena would get her shot at the seemingly unstoppable Madison Eagles!
Women's Championship Match: Athena def. Madison Eagles (13:52) with a victory roll to become the NEW Champion!!!!!
AFTERSTORY: A miraculous victory! Athena shocked the audience by becoming the new women's champion! Madison Eagles dominated the early goings of the match and looked primed to retain her gold but in the last five minutes of the bout, Athena exploded like never before. She battered Eagles with punches in the corner that busted open the champion and unleashed a flurry of offense including her dazzling O-Face finisher. When Eagles looked to try and regain control, Athena surprised her with a victory roll to become the NEW women's champion for the first time! It was a moment that caught everyone by surprise and even got the crowd behind the often rule-breaking Athena. Eagles was enraged as she wiped blood from her head while Athena escaped with the championship gold. Madison Eagles will receive a rematch at Bloodlines against the new champ.

PRESTORY: On a live event earlier in the month, Randy Orton defeated Triple H to earn another shot at champion Stone Cold Steve Austin, with whom he has a ton of history with. Orton would get his shot at Redemption.

Low Ki def. Matt Palmer (11:46) with a top rope sunset flip
STORY: A rematch from the Super J Cup, Palmer made the challenge hoping to avenge his prior loss but it was not to be despite being in control at various points of the match. Low Ki caught Palmer by surprise with a sunset flip off the top rope to secure the victory.

PRESTORY: The Canadian Ninjas have been in a slump since losing the women's tag team championships, while the tandem of Jamilia Craft and Claudia lost their shot at greatness at WrestleMania. Both teams are striving to climb back up the ladder and were put against each other to see who gets their first.
Jamilia Craft & Claudia def. The Canadian Ninjas (17:10) when Craft pinned Nicole with a victory roll
AFTERSTORY: Craft and Claudia prove that they are still in it to win it while the Ninjas continue their losing streak. Jamilia and Claudia hope to earn another title shot at the champions with their big victory over the former champions here.

KING OF THE RING - [The Final 16 Bracket A]

Mark Henry def. Ric Flair (11:17) via CRITICAL

MVP def. Billy Gunn (16:35) after a lariat

The Rock def. Chris Jericho (12:35) after a neckbreaker

Randy Orton def. Sid (9:25) via RKO CRITICAL

ROUND NOTES: Mark Henry was dominant in putting down Ric Flair. MVP was impressive in his return to action while The Rock put an end to Chris Jericho's title shot aspirations for now. Perhaps most impressive of the matches was Randy Orton's definitve finish over his ex-ally Sid.

PRESTORY: In a special attraction bout at WrestleMania, Bob Sapp was upset by Clubber Lang for the Octagon Championship. Sapp would get his rematch at Breakout
Octagon Championship Match: Bob Sapp def. Clubber Lang (4:23) via 1st Round KO after a tackle to become the NEW Champion!
AFTERSTORY: As is the usual case, Sapp wins back the championship in the rematch. With both fighters now 1-1 there will likely be a rubber match at Redemption.

KING OF THE RING - [The Final 16 Bracket B]

Vader def. Kurt Angle (11:40) via single leg crab submission

James Storm def. Jerry Lawler (13:09) with a victory roll

Lord Tensai def. Bret Hart (12:42) with the Baldo Bomb

Triple H def. Wade Barrett (16:47) after a facebuster


ROUND NOTES: The Great Muta, who Kurt Angle defeated in the untelevised Round 1, returned to cost Kurt his 2nd round match to Vader. Kurt had gone up to the top rope to perform a moonsault only to be blinded by Muta's mist which allowed Vader to chokeslam him back down to the mat. James Storm made a name for himself in his victory over Jerry Lawler. Lord Tensai was impressive in his debut while Triple H inched closer to a title shot.

PRESTORY: When Marti Belle & Jazz defeated the Canadian Ninjas at WrestleMania, it was clear that they were back in the title hunt and wanted a shot at the titles they once held. They challenged the champions, who felt that Belle & Jazz needed a bit more before challenging for their championships. Lexxus and Rain agreed to a non-title match with the stipulation that Marti and Jazz would receive a shot at the titles if they could defeat the champions.
Non Title Match: Marti Belle & Jazz def. Rain & Lexxus (13:52) when Jazz pinned Lexxus after the Jazz Stinger
AFTERSTORY: Belle and Jazz were successful in rather quick fashion! The win grants the former champions a shot at the titles which will take place at Redemption. Rain and Lexxus were clearly irate at their loss and hope to hold on to their titles come Redemption.

KING OF THE RING - [Elite Eight]

Mark Henry def. MVP (15:23) after a short arm clothesline

Randy Orton def. The Rock (15:27) after an inverted backbreaker

Vader def. James Storm (15:14) with a powerslam

Triple H def. Lord Tensai (16:12) after a high knee

ROUND NOTES:
Mark Henry and MVP renewed a past rivalry that saw Henry come out on top. Randy Orton continued his hot streak with a major victory over The Rock. Vader downed James Storm but not without a fight. The Game showed his true determination when he overcame Lord Tensai.

PRESTORY: At WrestleMania, Sabu came out of the chaos of the hardcore battle royal with the championship. Former champ, Abdullah the Butcher called for his rematch and wanted his belt back as soon as possible..
Hardcore Deathmatch Championship Match: Abdullah the Butcher def. Sabu (9:39) with the running elbow drop to become the NEW Champion!
AFTERSTORY: Abdullah regains his gold, putting an end to Sabu's short reign. Sabu will be coming back for a rematch in hopes to stay alive in the title picture.

PRESTORY: After coming up short in WrestleMania's 4 way, the #2 and #3 contenders for the Women's Championship square off at Breakout to determine the next number one contender. Athena who has been on a roll as of late battles Nevaeh who has also picked up several big wins.

AFTERSTORY: A highly competitive back and forth battle saw Athena come out on top in the end. Nevaeh had Athena on the ropes but Athena was able to send her crashing into the turnbuckles to secure the pinfall. Athena will face the winner of the upcoming women's championship match at Redemption!

PRESTORY: At WrestleMania, The Big Show was victorious in a battle with a bear but at the conclusion of the match it was The Great Khali making his presence felt and his intentions known that he was challenging the Big Show for the International Championship. And so the match was signed for FPR Breakout!
International Championship Match: The Great Khali def. The Big Show (13:45) after a chokeslam to become the NEW CHAMPION!!!
AFTERSTORY: In the battle of the giants, Khali puts an end to Show's latest year long reign as champion! It was considered by a most still to be a huge upset to see the title finally change hands once again. Great Khali celebrated around the ringside with his new championship.

PRESTORY: In the leadup to WrestleMania, Sara Del Rey wanted competition and she got it in the form of Ayako Hamada. Hamada took it to Del Rey and defeated her at WrestleMania in a top-notch bout. Del Rey was quick to demand a rematch and it was signed for Breakout!

AFTERSTORY: Del Rey got her rematch and made true on her promise to avenge her Mania defeat. It was a hard fought battle but this time Sara was able to come out on top and put Hamada down for the three count. FPR Management has decided to inject fellow top contender Serena Deeb into the mix for a triple threat encounter at Redemption!

PRESTORY: With Ultimo Dragon overcoming Super J Cup winner AJ Styles at WrestleMania, the next title shot went to the next in line. Impressive newcomer Prince Devitt was the runner up in the J Cup and gets his title shot at Breakout!
Junior Championship Match: Prince Devitt def. Ultimo Dragon (16:05) with a german suplex to become the NEW Champion!
AFTERSTORY: Prince Devitt caps off an incredible first few months in FPR by capturing the junior championship! Devitt puts an end to the several months long reign of Ultimo Dragon. The two will meet again in an 8 man tag team match on an upcoming tour before Ultimo gets his rematch at Redemption.

KING OF THE RING - [Semi Finals]

Mark Henry def. Randy Orton (10:01) with a choke bomb

Vader def. Triple H (9:34) with a big splash

ROUND NOTES:
The two big men advance to the finals despite the superb efforts of both Randy Orton and Triple H who have proven themselves as top contenders to the championship. Henry meets Vader in the finals later tonight!

PRESTORY: Last month at WrestleMania, Jiggle-O James Johnson and Julian Caesaro accomplished their months-long goal of becoming the tag team champions for the first time. Their victory came on their third attempt and was a true WrestleMania Moment. The Midnights get their rematch at Breakout and they are out for blood and out to regain the tag team championships.
World Tag Team Championship Double Elimination Match: The Midnight Express def. Jiggle-O James Johnson & Julian Caesaro (19:20) to become the NEW champions!

*Lane pinned Caesaro (19:20) after Eaton used a low blow

AFTERSTORY: After using literally every trick in the book, the Midnight Express recaptured the tag team championships. Using the ropes, foreign objects, the referee, match restarts, and ultimately low blows, the Midnight Express are once again the champions, putting a quick end to Johnson and Caesaro's title reign. The Real World Tag League is on the horizon while a final encounter between these two teams is in the works.

KING OF THE RING - [The Finals]
King of the Ring Finals: Mark Henry def. Vader (9:51) with a running big splash to win the tournament!

AFTERSTORY: A triumphant return to the scene of Fire Pro for the Worlds Strongest Man as he dominates the competition. Vader rode his WrestleMania momentum all the way to the finals but in the end it was Mark Henry getting the three count and winning the crown. Henry will now be in line for a title shot come August.

PRESTORY: At WrestleMania, Madison Eagles put an end to a legend of the FPR Women's Division while Jessie McKay won a four way bout to become #1 contender to Madison's title. Eagles and McKay have a long and storied history including two big-time bouts over the past several months in FPR. McKay earned a shot at the title and would now attempt a third time to defeat Eagles. Eagles has vowed to become the most dominant women's champion of all time. Could "Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend" find championship success or would "The Punisher" remain on top of the mountain?
Women's Championship Match: Madison Eagles def. Jessie McKay (14:23) with a backslide to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY: Madison was able to put Jessie down again but not without a heavy fight. McKay came close on several occasions but in the end it was Madison Eagles catching her by surprise to retain her gold. Now she looks ahead to Redemption where she faces the ever-impressive number one contender, Athena, in what promises to be a top-notch bout for the belt.

PRESTORY: Stone Cold Steve Austin put an end to John Cena's title reign at the end of last year and has dominated ever since. Cena went without his rematch for the next several months and then at WrestleMania, Cena defeated Randy Orton to once again become the #1 contender. Now Cena would get that shot and his chance to win the title back from Austin.
Worlds Heavyweight Championship Match: Stone Cold Steve Austin def. John Cena (6:31) to RETAIN the championship
AFTERSTORY: Unfortunately for Cena, he met the same fate as he did at Final Showdown. Austin's next challenger will be determined on FPR's upcoming tour in a match between King of the Ring standouts and former world champs, Randy Orton and Triple H.
