Whether or not another match would be signed was a subject of debate considering the Ninjas won 2 straight falls but it was ultimately decided that these two teams were not quite done with one another. And so the decision was made to put the two teams inside of a 15 foot high steel cage! Meanwhile, the two top contending teams went to battle which saw Jiggle-O James Johnson & Julian Caesaro come out on top against the Fantastics. Their win gained them a rematch with the champs to take place at the Royal Battle. Will they be able to strike gold this time?
World Tag Team Championship Match: The Midnight Express def. Jiggle-O James Johnson & Julian Caesaro (25:07) when Eaton used a single leg crab on Johnson to RETAIN the championships!
AFTERSTORY: Another case of "somehow, someway" as the Midnights managed to leave with the belts again. Despite a seeming 3 count from a Johnson german suplex, Bobby Eaton covered in blood, and near fall after near fall, Eaton used a desperation submission to win the match in the end. After the bout it was the challengers standing tall in the ring as the crowd cheered them on while the champions retreated with Lane helping his bloody partner crawl up the ramp. As Caesaro & Johnson remained in ring motioning for the titles, they were suddenly attacked from behind by The Fantastics! The Fantastics beat down Johnson & Caesaro in the ring and left them laying. Cameras caught up with The Fantastics backstage afterwards as they explained their belief that Johnson & Caesaro took advantage of Tommy Rogers' injured ribs in their match at the Royal Battle and they were only extracting their revenge. As a result, these two teams will meet again at Valentine's Massacre.

Since then, Eagles has continued to come out on top against opponent after opponent, solidifying her status as top contender. Taking place at the same time was the rise of Gail Kim. Gail was the last entry into Cyber Saturday's FYF Women's Battle Royal and ended up winning the whole thing for her second time. Gail would wait two months to get her title shot but when she did, she made sure it counted. Gail challenged Victoria in an epic lumberjill match that main evented FPR Eve of Destruction. Gail won a wild rollercoaster of a match and captured the championship. The following week, Victoria went above and beyond to ensure that she got her title rematch by beating the clock. They met again at Final Showdown and Gail was once again victorious. Gail proved her worth as champion and now she faces an enormous challenge in the seemingly unstoppable Madison Eagles. As the match progressed, the women's locker room began to empty out onto the stage to watch the match up close as everyone wanted to keep an eye on this one. Eagles was able to drop Gail with her patented Hellbound finisher to gain the women's championship. Madison's victory certainly shakes up the division with many vying for a shot. Gail will be first in line for a rematch at Valentine's Massacre.

PRESTORY: One match will see eight men do battle. The winner will go on to headline WrestleMania 7 to challenge for the FPR Worlds Heavyweight Championship. The eight participants will include: Former 3 Time FPR World Champion, Terry Funk. Funk battled back from an injury and has been on fire ever since, this could be his chance to skyrocket back to the top. Former FPR Champion, The Great Muta. Muta returned from a 2 month absence recently and looked rejuvenated with a fire in his eyes. Muta has shown in the past that he will do whatever it takes to capture the championship again. Former 3 Time FPR Champion, John Cena. Cena had a great reign before it came to an abrupt end last month and he looks to earn his way back to the top. Cena has the experience on his side as he is a two time winner of the Royal Battle including winning the last one in 2011. Chris Jericho, who returned to FPR only a few months ago. Jericho surprised many with his clean victory over Hulk Hogan at Final Showdown. Austin winning the title has fueled Jericho's motivation more than ever. FPR newcomer, Wade Barrett has signed a contract and will make his debut in the Royal Battle, what better way to make an impact upon debut than winning this one. Two more former champions in Triple H and The Rock who have both been battling to return to the top of FPR. Lastly, the final entry will be the Immortal Hulk Hogan! Hogan is an 8 time former champion and has history with Stone Cold, he came close to winning last year. Could 2012 be the year of the Hulkster the way that 2009 was? The seventh annual Royal Battle promises to be an exciting one with so many possibilities, the outcome is unpredictable. One man will go on to WrestleMania 7!

Jericho did not take kindly to having his shot taken away and immediately assaulted Funk after the match. Jericho wanted nothing more than to get revenge on Stone Cold for their long history but his chance was denied. Jericho beat down Funk in the ring as Randy Orton and Bob Orton Jr. came to the ring to join Jericho. Their beatdown continued until Stone Cold Steve Austin arrived with a steel chair in hand causing them to bail from the ring. Ohka and Ayumi went at it with literally everything in their arsenals from the big moves to the top rope dives to the springboards. After twenty minutes of battle Yumi was able to lock Ayumi in submission and get the major victory. A much better outing for Yumi than her debut and a performance that will propel both higher in the ranks.

PRESTORY: As mentioned at Eve of Destruction, Madison Eagles has refused to take time off to await her title shot. Eagles has continued to face everything head-on and wanted a match for Final Showdown so that offer was accepted by Eagles' longtime rival, Jessie McKay in what would be a rematch from September's Queen's Cup Finals! Up next, FPR Worlds Tag Team Champions, The Midnight Express came to the ring. The Midnights brought out their associates, Dennis Condrey and Dr. Death Steve Williams. Not only were the Midnight foursome successful at Survival of the Sickest, but Dr. Death & Condrey were the team to beat the clock as a part of their plan to ensure the Midnight Express would keep their titles and not even have to defend them. Eaton and Lane talked up their plan until they were interrupted by The Fantastics. Tommy Rogers had his ribs taped from the match they lost to Condrey & Dr. Death after receiving multiple Doctor Bombs on the outside of the ring. The Fantastics argued that they deserved a title shot based on their performance at Survival of the Sickest but Lane and Eaton felt that the Fantastics would have to win a match first. The teams argued until they were interrupted by recent title challengers, Jiggle-O James Johnson & Julian Caesaro. Johnson and Caesaro wanted a rematch with the champions after coming so close last month. Eventually, the two challenging teams started to argue amongst each other until the Midnight Express proposed the idea of those two teams facing each other in a contender's bout which they were more than happy to agree with.

PRESTORY: The ongoing rivalry between The Divas of Doom and The Canadian Ninjas has been very back and forth. PRESTORY: Last week at Eve of Destruction, Gail Kim and Victoria tore the house down in their headline attraction that saw Gail Kim become the new women's champion. It was up to beat the clock to determine her first challenger. First it looked like it would be Ayako Hamada with a quick win but Serena Deeb managed to edge her out by a few seconds and the match was set to be Gail vs Serena but in the last challenge, it was Victoria once again destroying Jessica James in 8 minutes to beat the clock and get her rematch with Gail. It was clear that Victoria was determined to win back the title and she was not going to go away easy. And so it was set to be Gail vs Victoria II at Final Showdown!
Women's Championship Match: Gail Kim def. Victoria (13:42) via Christo CRITICAL to RETAIN the championship!

AFTERSTORY: And it was indeed a bad night for John Cena as Stone Cold Steve Austin made short work of the champion to begin his second reign. Austin now holds the gold and will be the one everyone's gunning for.
