PRESTORY: Since the Guerrero Cup tournament, The Dark Circle & Miracle-Violence Connection have been at each other's throats. Doc & Gordy beat the Dark Circle in the tag tourny finals in a classic bout. The Dark Circle got involved in both Doc & Gordy's title shots, escalating after they smashed the Dark Circle in the Beat the Clock Challenge. The two teams had another post-match brawl at Final Showdown that led to a match being made between them at the Royal Battle under Texas Tornado rules!
Texas Tornado Tag Team Match: The Miracle-Violence Connection def. The Dark Circle (9:44) when Dr. Death pinned Apoc with the Doctor Bomb
AFTERSTORY: On this night the Dark Circle were again no match for Doc & Gordy. It was a quick but decisive brawl that saw Dr. Death again use his Doctor Bomb to finish things off.

PRESTORY: Ayako Hamada has been on a role for the last few months. She eliminated all of the opposing team at Survival of the Sickest and picked up victories at Eve of Destruction and Final Showdown. Now at Royal Battle, she would look to continue her impressive win streak as she took on the Rate Tank, Kellie Skater!
Ayako Hamada def. Kellie Skater (15:52) with a hurricarana
AFTERSTORY: It was a much more competitive match than one may think as Kellie came very close on more than one occasion to defeating Hamada. Hamada gave it her all and ultimately finished Skater off with a hurricarana. If Hamada keeps up like this, a shot at the FPR Women's Championship can't be far off.

PRESTORY: Last month at the Final Showdown, Mr. Pogo was able to overcome Necro Butcher for the Hardcore Deathmatch title. Pogo had previously beaten the clock in order to earn a shot at the title. Necro would receive his rematch here at Royal Battle!
Hardcore Deathmatch Championship Match: Necro Butcher def. Mr. Pogo (12:38) with a Tiger Driver on a steel chair to become the NEW Champion!!
AFTERSTORY: Necro was able to regain the hardcore deathmatch championship for a second reign. It looks as if these two will continue their rivalry for another month as Pogo will now be wanting his rematch in the hardcore environment

PRESTORY: A six woman tag was signed featuring six of the top women competitors. 3/4ths of Claudia's Angel's Punishment team reformed to take on Candice Michelle and FPR rookies Rayna Von Tash & Jamilia Craft
6 Woman Tag Team Match: Claudia, Alissa Flash,& Madison Eagles def. Candice Michelle, Rayna Von Tash, & Jamilia Craft (25:28) when Eagles pinned Rayna with a powerbomb
AFTERSTORY: A great bout saw Claudia, Madison, & Alissa pick up the very important victory. Madison ended things by dropping Rayna with a powerbomb. Madison has made an impact quick and was dominant in her team with two former women's champions. Madison Eagles will challenge Candice in a one on one bout at Valentine's Massacre. Candice has slipped in her last few matches in tag team environments. Can the relative newcomer take down one of FPR's greatest female competitors?

PRESTORY: Dashing Cody Rhodes along with Ted DiBiase Jr. stunned the audience at Survival of the Sickest when they overcame all odds to win the 8 man tag match for Randy Orton's team. Rhodes managed to score pinfalls on Vader & The Road Warriors. Needless to say, Stone Cold and the rest of his team were unhappy. The Road Warriors wanted to get their hands on Rhodes & DiBiase ever since. They met in the tag team beat the clock challenge but the time expired before there could be a winner. The two teams were signed to face each other at the Royal Battle!
Dashing Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr. def. The Road Warriors (17:57) when Ted CRITICAL'd Animal with Dreamstreet
AFTERSTORY: Somehow, Cody & Ted were able to do it again! This time, Ted even CRITICAL'd Animal which certainly showed that Cody and Ted are a serious threat in the tag team division. They are climbing the ranks fast and could be challenging for the titles sooner rather than later.

PRESTORY: The Canadian Ninjas were at odds for months with the Beautiful People, since their debut at Cyber Saturday. With their most recent loss, it was stipulated they could not receive any more shots, although TBP have since lost the tag team titles. Jessica James & Athena took on the Ninjas in the beat the clock challenge which was ultimately won by now-champions Jazz & Marti Bellle. Jessica & Athena agreed to take on the Ninjas in a rematch to determine future contenders for the women's tag team titles!
The Canadian Ninjas def. Jessica James & Athena (18:31) when Portia pinned Jessica after an elbow to the back
AFTERSTORY: A huge win for Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews as they overcome the challenge of former women's champ Jessica James and Athena. The Canadian Ninjas hope to bounce back into tag title contention with this victory and may challenge the champions at Valentine's Massacre

PRESTORY: Stone Cold Steve Austin has been in a heated rivalry with Randy Orton since the Legend Killer Challenge at Cyber Saturday. Orton's team was victorious at Survival of the Sickest but Austin was able to pick off Cody Rhodes at Final Showdown. Austin and Orton would meet one on one with the stipulation that the winner would gain the last entry into the Royal Battle match! The stakes were high and only one would go on!
Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Randy Orton (10:20) via submission with repeated stomps
AFTERSTORY: Stone Cold extinguished the Viper and was able to gain entry into the Royal Battle in the final spot! Austin would now hope to go on to the main event, win and go on to WrestleMania in hopes of reclaiming the championship he lost back in the six pack challenge in September.

PRESTORY: Daizee Haze & Sara Del Rey's rivalry began back in October. They met at Halloween Havoc with Daizee being victorious and met again at Survival of the Sickest in an 8 woman tag. Daizee earned two title shots but was unable to retrieve the gold and with Haze temporarily out of the title picture, Del Rey challenged her to step back into the ring with her for a rematch!
Daizee Haze def. Sara Del Rey (12:56) after a lariat
AFTERSTORY: Daizee does it again! In almost the same fashion she beat Sara before, Daizee has got the pinfall once again. Sara was dominant but in the end Daizee managed to make a comeback and shock Del Rey out of nowhere with a lariat and the ensuing pinfall. Daizee proved she's not going to go on a losing streak despite her two losses to Victoria, while Sara is no doubt upset with her loss.

PRESTORY: Last month the new tandem of Jazz & Marti Belle shocked the world when they upset the seemingly unbeatable duo of The Beautiful People's Madison Rayne & Maryse. TBP have been fuming ever since, demanding they get their belts back. The rematch was set shortly after for the Royal Battle!
Women's Tag Team Championship Match: Jazz & Marti Belle def. Madison Rayne & Maryse (25:59) when Jazz CRITICAL'd Madison with the Jazz Stinger to RETAIN the championships!
AFTERSTORY: It seems as if there was no fluke! This time Jazz was able to CRITICAL Madison Rayne for the second straight victory over the Beautiful People. This is definitely a shocker and without a doubt, not the way the Beautiful People had hoped to start off 2011 following their incredible 2010. Jazz & Marti will look to take the titles on to new challengers and we will see if TBP are able to bounce back from these losses!

PRESTORY: LAX have been back to running roughshod since regaining the tag team titles at Halloween Havoc. With two impressive victories over the Miracle-Violence Connection and their win at Survival of the Sickest. Robert Evans & Matt Palmer teamed with LAX at SotS and felt their victory earned them a title shot. At the beginning of December, Evans & Palmer vowed to become champions as soon as they were given the chance and the match was made for the Royal Battle!
World Tag Team Championship Match: Latin American XChange def. Robert Evans & Matt Palmer (25:41) when Homicide pinned Palmer with a rolling prawn hold to RETAIN the championships!
AFTERSTORY: Evans & Palmer's destiny was not to be as LAX continued their winning ways with a successful title defense. That's not to say that Evans & Palmer didn't come close as they came very close to winning the titles. It's for certain they will look to remain in the title hunt. LAX look on now to Valentine's Massacre and beyond to WrestleMania to find out who the next challengers will be for the FPR Tag Team Championship.

PRESTORY: Victoria & Angelina Love's history dates back to the latter part of 2009. They had a rollercoaster 2010, becoming friends and even tag team partners for a brief time before a double-turn in their roles found them enemies once again. Victoria was getting the better of Angelina many times until Angelina was able to overcome and defeat Victoria in a steel cage at the Ultimate Encounter. Not long after that, Victoria became women's champion at Halloween Havoc which did not set welll with Angelina. Angelina waited for her chance to challenge for the title and as soon as it was open, she took the shot!
Women's Championship Match: Victoria def. Angelina Love (10:42) after a swinging neckbreaker to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY: Unfortunately for Angelina, she was unsuccessful in her bid for the championship despite her best efforts. Victoria has been on a hot streak since October for sure. Natalya did commentary for their bout, where she announced that she would challenge for the title at Valentine's Massacre in what is sure to be a classic bout! Natalya's been involved in a feud with Beth Phoenix as of late, and her steel cage victory last month seems to have earned her a title shot.

PRESTORY: The junior title scene has been wild for the past few months. Going back to Cyber Saturday when Rey Mysterio upset Jushin Liger for the title and then this last month of December where Ultimo Dragon regained the gold at Eve of Destruction only to lose it to the returning Christopher Daniels at Final Showdown. AJ Styles bested his rival Julian Caesaro at Final Showdown and with so many laying claim to a title shot, FPR decided on a Fatal 4 Way match for the Junior Championship!
Fatal 4 Way Junior Championship Match: Ultimo Dragon def. Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles, & Rey Mysterio (13:57) when he pinned AJ with a cross arm suplex to become the NEW Champion!!
AFTERSTORY: And the rollercoaster continues! Ultimo wins back the title he lost to Daniels by pinning AJ Styles. It was a very close contest that any of the four could've won at various points but in the end ti was Ultimo beginning his third title reign. Things will be getting ultimately more interesting as the Super J Cup is coming up to take place throughout the month of February with the finals taking place at Valentine's Massacre and the winner getting a title shot at WrestleMania! This match was full of highlights as an excellent display of what to expect in the J Cup. As of now, it looks as if the Fallen Angel will receive his rematch at Valentine's Massacre against Ultimo.

PRESTORY: Last month, Triple H came out of nowhere to end his year on the highest of notes by winning the FPR Worlds Heavyweight Championship from The Rock. HHH had bounced back from the end of D-Generation X in the early part of the year and made a bold statement at Final Showdown by becoming champion. Rock and HHH showed mutual respect for one another and Rock let Triple H know that he would be having his rematch at the Royal Battle.
Worlds Heavyweight Championship Match: Triple H def. The Rock (19:41) when HHH forced Rock to pass out in the sleeper hold to RETAIN the championship!!
AFTERSTORY: The King of Kings reigns victorious! Triple H was able to defeat the Rock for a second time in another absolute classic. Both men went back and forth in a long matchup until HHH caught Rock in the sleeper hold for the win. Rock will be sure to stay in the mix but for now the Game is on top as the Road to WrestleMania 6 moves on to Valentine's Massacre! HHH's challenger there is yet to be determined

PRESTORY: And then came the main event, the annual 8 man Royal Battle where the winner would go on to WrestleMania to get a World Championship shot. Triple H is the reigning champion and the 8 competitors would include: 2 time Royal Battle winner, CM Punk. Punk won the first in 2006 and the last in 2010 and looked to win it a third time to reclaim the world title. The Great Muta, who has been doing anything and everything he can in hopes of becoming the champion. Former champion, Hulk Hogan, who was champion heading into last year's WrestleMania. Hogan wants the belt back and he'll enter the Royal Battle to do it. 2008 Royal Battle winner, John Cena who has been fighting for a title shot for months since winning the Road to GAB tournament. Ric Flair, who gained entry through his very impressive victory at Final Showdown over Kurt Angle. Former champ, Stone Cold Steve Austin, who never received a rematch since losing the title in a 6 pack challenge in September, gained entry via defeating Randy Orton earlier this night. Another former champ in Shawn Michaels, who would love nothing more than to win the Royal Battle and face Triple H at Mania and lastly the Undertaker, who has been champion before and came close to regaining it not long ago. Several rivalries existed inside the Royal Battle from Cena-Muta, to Taker-Muta, to Hogan-Punk. Eight men would enter but only one would come out the winner of the 2011 Royal Battle!
The Royal Battle: John Cena def. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, CM Punk, Great Muta, Undertaker, & Hulk Hogan (26:15)
*Flair eliminated Austin (16:23)
*Flair eliminated Michaels (17:18)
*Punk eliminated Flair (20:11)
*Cena eliminated Punk (21:40)
*Hogan eliminated Muta (22:46)
*Hogan eliminated Taker (24:44)
*Cena eliminated Hogan (26:15)
AFTERSTORY: John Cena is going to WrestleMania! Flair capitalized on Austin's early weakness and was also able to elimiante Michaels. Punk took care of Flair only for Cena to turn around and eliminate Punk. Hogan was on a roll eliminating both Muta and Undertaker. And in the end it came down to a clash between Cena and Hogan. Cena ended up overcoming Hogan to grab his ticket to WrestleMania! It has been an unbelievable road for Cena dating back to July when he won the Road 2 GAB tournament only to be put out of action by the Great Muta, igniting a feud that has lasted for months. Now, Cena will get his title shot in the main event of WrestleMania with no one in his way to stop him. Provided Triple H makes it to Mania as champion, we could be seeing Cena vs The Game at Mania! Only time will tell as the Road to WrestleMania continues with the next stop being Valentine's Massacre!
