FPR Valentine's Massacre 2010 RESULTS!

FPR Valentine's Massacre
February 20, 2010
Theme Song: Paramore -" Ignorance"

Major Update on FPR: Following FPR Valentine's Massacre, some huge technical difficulties took place in the FPR office that included loss of data. Due to the computer crash, we lost the footage of Valentine's Massacre. As a result of this, we have lost the proper programming to continue releasing highlight videos from the FPR events. Therefore the way things stand right now, future shows will be released as results only. FPR will continue despite the unfortunate loss of video recording. Valentine's Massacre's results are below and I've done my best to retype this entire recap over again. Some of the matches may be out of order but I was able to recall atleast most of the match lengths. Enjoy!.

PRESTORY: An eight woman tag team match was signed to take place at Valentine's Massacre. Jessica James and Shinobu Kandori were chosen to captain each team. Kandori's team consisted of Aja Kong, her Survival of the Sickest teammate Alektra Blue, and Michelle McCool to round out the team. Jessica James joined her fellow Survival of the Sickest teammates in Sarita and Athena and her team was joined by Hamada to finish it out. Hamada debuted in December taking Shinobu Kandori to the limit in a beat the clock match. Kandori defeated her in the rematch that took place at Final Showdown. Hamada wanted a rematch but Kandori wanted nothing else to do with Hamada, so as a result, Hamada joined the team in order to get her hands on Kandori once again.
8 Woman Tag Team Match: Jessica James, Sarita, Athena, & Hamada def. Aja Kong, Shinobu Kandori, Alektra Blue, & Michelle McCool (29:19) when Hamada pinned Kandori with the Hamada Driver
AFTERSTORY: Shinobu Kandori spent the majority of the match away from Hamada but in the final minutes they finally tagged in at the same times. Hamada finished off Kandori to get the victory, which couldn't have been sweeter for her. All women involved were very impressive as we head on in the Road to WrestleMania V!

PRESTORY: Over the last few weeks, the Super J Cup 2010 has taken place. In the J Cup, Julian Caesaro made waves with an impressive CRITICAL victory over Robert Evans in the second round. Evans, though, was none too happy with the outcome. Evans returned and cost Caesaro his third round match against Jiggle-O James Johnson by shoving him off the top rope. Following the match, Johnson found out what had took place and joined up with Caesaro to challenge Evans to a tag team match with whomever he would choose as his partner.
Robert Evans & Matt Palmer def. Julian Caesaro & Jiggle-O James Johnson when Evans pinned Johnson
AFTERSTORY: To the surprise of many, Robert Evans chose former FPR Junior Champion, Matt Palmer, as his partner. It appears as Evans has turned Palmer to his side and they made for an impressive team nonetheless. Evans dubbed them Simply Irresistable as he gloated about their victory. Needless to say, Johnson and Julian weren't pleased with defeat and this feud may not be quite over yet.

PRESTORY: Bob Sapp began yet another Octagon Championship reign at Eve of Destruction and has already resumed defeating all challengers. With no set number one contender, Ken Shamrock stepped into the Octagon to challenge the Beast!
Octagon Championship Match: Bob Sapp def. Ken Shamrock via 2nd Round KO to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY: Shamrock put up a good fight but Sapp continued his dominant ways. Sapp brings the Octagon Championship into WrestleMania V and we were ready to ask the question, who is going to challenge him for the big event. However, following the Octagon Title match, a ringside interview was conducted with former international champion, Mark Henry! Henry made his intentions known that he would like to step into the Octagon against reigning champion, Bob Sapp. The most dominant international champion versus the most dominant octagon champion!

PRESTORY: Back in November at Survival of the Sickest, Victoria injured Angelina Love with a brutal Widow's Peak. Angelina had been kept out of action and last month prior to their six woman tag team match, The Beautiful People announceddthat Angelina would make her return at Valentine's Massacre to challenge Victoria in a one on one match. The Beautiful People went on to win that six woman tag over Lita, Trish, and Gail. Now it was Angelina's turn to step into the ring. Love was returning with revenge on her mind and hoping for a Beautiful People victory.
Victoria def. Angelina Love (23:21) after the Widow's Peak
AFTERSTORY: Many people didn't think Angelina had a big chance of beating the former seven time women's champion, but what a match it turned out to be! Angelina showed great determination and fire as she went all out in her quest for victory. Victoria gave her best and then some as the two women had quite the battle. A highlight was when Angelina threw caution to the wind and delivered and incredible high cross body from the top rope to the outside! Angelina managed to survive a Widow's Peak but a second one spelt the end for Angelina and Victoria gained the hard-earned victory. The crowd gave an ovation to both competitors as the match came to a conclusion. After the match ended, Victoria offered her hand to Angelina as she was getting to her feet. But before Angelina could respond, Victoria was ambushed from behind by Lacey Von Erich and Madison Rayne! The Beautiful People duo continued the beatdown as Angelina quietly backed out of the ring and made her exit. Victoria managed to regain her composure and strike back on both Madison and Lacey and escaped the ring to grab the mic. Victoria said if they wanted a piece of her, they could have it because she'd love to beat up Madison and be the first one to pin Lacey. So an impromptu handicap match began which led to...
Handicap Match: Madison Rayne & Lacey Von Erich def. Victoria (14:03) when Lacey pinned Victoria with a small package
AFTERSTORY: Victoria came very close to victory considering it was a two on one handicap match but the numbers game came into play. Victoria lifted Madison for the Widow's Peak but was unaware that Lacey had made the blind tag. Lacey entered the ring and rolled up Victoria for the win. Afterwards, Lacey and Madison celebrated as if they had just won the championship. Victoria didn't take kindly to the gloating and grabbed Lacey by the hair. Madison was quick to attack from behind though, leveling Victoria with the ugly stick. The Beautiful People resumed their beatdown yet again until suddenly Candice Michelle came running to the ring and chased off Madison and Lacey! Candice helped up her former tag team partner and former rival, Victoria as the Beautiful People backed up around ringside. Candice remained in the ring and stared down Lacey as Victoria got back up to her feet. In an update, we have since learned that Candice Michelle has challenged Lacey Von Erich to a matchup at WrestleMania! The Best in the World takes on the Undefeated. Can Candice end Lacey's lucky streak or will Lacey add Candice to the list of opponents she's pinned which includes Trish Stratus, Gail Kim, and now Victoria? It'll definitely be a match to look forward to.

PRESTORY: In December, D-Generation X reunited and entered the tag team beat the clock series. DX would end up winning in the shortest amount of time with a victory over Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler. They got their tag team title shot against then-champions Team 3D at Final Showdown but came up unsuccessful in a very close, competitive match. DX wanted a rematch and as 3D went on to lose the belts back to the Briscoes, DX would get their match at Valentine's Massacre.
D-Generation X def. Team 3D (36:16) when Triple H forced Ray to submit
AFTERSTORY: The match unexpectedly became one of the best of the night! DX managed to avenge their previous loss to 3D in a hard-fought battle of two great tag teams. After the match, Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger came out to the stage with a mic. Ziggler and Swagger weren't happy with their last several losses to DX and promised that they could beat them. Ziggler and Swagger challenged DX to a tag team match in which the losing team would be forced to disband! DX accepted the match agreeing to smash them one more time but Ziggler and Swagger vow to come out on top this time.

PRESTORY: With the Super J Cup ongoing to end on this night, Frankie Kazarian didn't have a championship defense. Kazarian made an open challenge to anyone who was not involved in the Super J Cup. His call was answered by 2 Cold Scorpio! Scorpio was scheduled to copmete in the Super J Cup but was unable to make it due to scheduling conflicts. Scorpio hoped to more than make up for it by taking on the champion himself in a non title match!
Non-Title Match: Frankie Kazarian def. 2 Cold Scorpio (8:16) with a small package
AFTERSTORY: Kazarian pulled off the non title victory and did so decisively. Scorpio had things going his way but Kazarian caught him in a surprise small package for the quick victory. Nobody expected the finish coming and it was quite a shock that Kazarian got the 3 so soon. Frankie heads into WrestleMania as the champion to face the winner of the Super J Cup!

PRESTORY: Spoiler 2000 debuted at Survival of the Sickest as a bodyguard to Chris Jericho. In their SOTS match, Spoiler got into it heavily with Jericho's longtime rival, Jakob Furis. They met in the beat the clock series with neither man beating the clock. Last month they wrestled one on one with Spoiler gaining the big victory. Furis wanted a rematch and he got that at Valentine's Massacre.
Jakob Furis def. Spoiler 2000 (16:00) after a chop to the head
AFTERSTORY: Furis avenged his loss from last month! Spoiler looked to finish off Furis as he did last month but Jakob came in with a strategy this time and countered Spoiler, catching him off-guard with a chop to the head. Another great match from these two as this has been a very intriguing rivalry to watch.

PRESTORY: With Hulk Hogan not having a championship defense for the night, Hogan teamed up with the Ultimate Warrior to battle Ted DiBiase & Ted DiBiase Jr, hoping to put the final nail in their saga with the Million Dollar Corporation. Hogan hoped to finish them off on his road to WrestleMania V where he will meet CM Punk in the ring.
Ted DiBiase & Ted DiBiase Jr. def. Hulk Hogan & The Ultimate Warrior (21:12) when DiBiase Jr. pinned Hogan
AFTERSTORY: Hogan and Warrior had everything going their way, that was until DiBiase Jr. whipped Hogan to the ropes and a masked man from the outside nailed Hogan from behind with a steel chair! The referee was preoccupied with the million dollar man on the apron and DiBiase Jr was quick to capitalize on what he just saw and jumped on Hogan with a thesz press to pin Hogan for the second time in his short career! The masked man disappeared as quickly as he came and this was certainly a roadblock in Hogan's road to WrestleMania.

PRESTORY: At Cyber Saturday, The Big Show ended the over a year long International title reign of Mark Henry. Show has been very dominant ever since with successful defenses over Henry, Bret Hart, The Great Muta, and last month, Kane. Show had defeated Foundation members, Bret and Kane, and this month, Samoa Joe stepped up to challenge Show. Joe promised to take the international title from Show and give the belt a proper showcase at WrestleMania V.
International Championship Match: The Big Show def. Samoa Joe (12:01) with a running elbow drop to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY: Joe put up a fight but Show was able to hang on to his championship belt. As Big Show got back to his feet and raised up his title belt, the lights went out and the Undertaker's music began! Taker's voice was heard, "Big Show.....you.......me.......WrestleMania!" So it looks like we will get a rematch from last year's WrestleMania between Big Show and the Undertaker, only this time the stakes are raised higher with the international title on the line! As the lights returned, Show looked around frantically and quickly exited the ring.

PRESTORY: The rivalry between Mick Foley and Randy Orton has been brewing for some time now. Back in November at Survival of the Sickest, the main event included Orton taking out Foley first with an RKO that left him CRITICAL'd. Foley wanted revenge and he and Orton were involved in several altercations thereafter. Things turned up a notch when both men entered the Royal Battle, they brawled all around the entire match until both men were eliminated roughly around the same time. They then brawled out of the ring and all the way up the ramp to the backstage area. Foley challenged Orton and Sid to step into the barbed-wire ring as Foley teamed up with Randy Savage, who is no stranger to Sid and Orton. Savage's feud with Orton has been more than well-documented and Sid has been right there with Orton the whole time.
Barbed-Wire Ropes Match: Randy Orton & Sid def. Mick Foley & Randy Savage (11:13) when Sid pinned Savage
AFTERSTORY: Sid got the pinfall on Savage as Foley and Orton continued their own war and had to be separated by officials after the match. Orton has made his intentions clear that he wants Foley's belt and he will get the opportunity at WrestleMania! Orton vs Foley has been signed for the hardcore deathmatch championship!

PRESTORY: The Super J Cup 2010 was another incredible tournament with fantastic action from everyone involved. The road to the finals was an impressive one from both men involved, those being Brian Pillman and Yoshi Tatsu. On Pillman's side, he first defeated two former junior champions in AJ Styles and Matt Palmer. Pillman then defeated Amazing Red (who was very impressive in his own right, especially his second round victory over Low Ki). And in the semi-finals, Pillman defeated his often-times tag team partner and former kingpin of the junior division, Jushin Liger. Pillman ended Liger's plan of entering the J Cup to get one last shot at Kazarian as it was not to be. On the other side of the brackets, Yoshi Tatsu defeated last year's J Cup winner, Psicosis. Former junior champion, Ricky Marvin and a semi-finals victory over Jiggle-O James Johnson. Tatsu who is still a relative newcomer to FPR made a huge impression here and Pillman looked to acquire his first junior championship shot.
Super J Cup Finals: Brian Pillman def. Yoshi Tatsu (14:11) with a victory roll
AFTERSTORY: Pillman did it! Both men looked great here but it was Pillman catching Tatsu with the surprise victory roll to win the tournament and get the championship shot. Both men shook hands after the bout and Pillman will now head to WrestleMania V where he will challenge reigning champion, Frankie Kazarian

PRESTORY: At Survival of the Sickest, Alissa Flash & Maria Menounos made their respective debuts on opposing teams. Menounos joined her close friend, Candice Michelle's team and Alissa was a part of Team Mickie James where she quickly formed a strong alliance with Claudia. Both women had impressive debuts and they met against each other in a singles match at Eve of Destruction where Alissa was victorious. Their next encounter saw Alissa win in a beat the clock challenge but her time was eventually beat. At Final Showdown, Maria teamed up with Wendi Richter to defeat Claudia and Alissa when Menounos scored a huge pinfall in that match on former women's champion, Claudia. Claudia was irate and demanded a match with Menounos, a match that took place last month at Royal Battle. It turned out to be one of the best matches of the night as both women gave it their all that night and nearly stole the show. At the end of the match, Menounos attemped a top rope missile dropkick but was caught into submission by Claudia for the win. The extremely impressive victory garnered Claudia number one contender status but Maria's performance would not go unnoticed. It was soon announced that Menounos would go one on one with Alissa Flash to determine the number one contender to the womens' championship, facing whomever would win the match between Claudia and reigning champion, Gina Carano, presumably at WrestleMania V!
#1 Contender's Match: Maria Menounos def. Alissa Flash (18:27) with a backslide
AFTERSTORY: Maria did it! Maria upset Alissa Flash! An unbelievable feat in an incredible match with a great story. Alissa dominated the match, tossing Maria from pillar to post around the ring and slamming her with several of her trademark moves but Menounos would not quit. She kept coming, she kept kicking out and kept delivering more in her comeback attempts. Maria started to get several near falls and Alissa knew she was potentially in danger. Alissa looked to finish things off but Maria got behind with a backslide and shocked the world! Maria Menounos finally defeated Alissa Flash! Her celebration in the ring was soon joined by her close friends, Candice Michelle and Wendi Richter, among others as they relished in the moment. Maria celebrated around the ring, slapping hands with fans as Alissa remained distraught in disbelief in the ring. Maria Menounos has become #1 contender, she's going to WrestleMania, but there's no doubt that Alissa Flash and Claudia are going to do everything they can to stay in the title picture.

PRESTORY: Last month, The Briscoes once again became tag team champions, winning the titles back from Team 3D. What also took place last month was the Latin American XChange defeating Edge & Christian to become contenders and LAX wanted the rematch that they never got from the last time they lost the tag team titles in September. At the Ultimate Encounter, The Briscoes had won the belts back from LAX but then came Cyber Saturday and the fans voted in Edge & Christian (who would win the belts), leaving LAX out of their rematch. LAX never went away though and they wanted the belts back. Now the time has come and the tag team feud of 09 had returned
World Tag Team Championship Match: The Latin American XChange def. The Briscoes to become the NEW Champions!
AFTERSTORY: LAX did it again, they proved why their rematch was well-deserved and in the process they may have re-ignited the classic rivalry with the Briscoes. A feud that has never been settled completely and may not ever be. The Briscoes will get their rematch at WrestleMania giving us a second rematch from WrestleMania IV for the tag team championships! The two teams have already faced in tag matches, tornado matches, and a steel cage. At WrestleMania V, they will face off in a double elimination match where both members of the team will have to be pinned in order to win the match!

PRESTORY: Gina Carano has remained undefeated in singles competition since debuting in September and winning the 32 woman Queen's Cup tournament. The only woman with any sort of victory is the Angel of Mercy, Claudia, who scored a fall over her, albeit controversially, in a Survival of the Sickest match. As referenced above, a phenomenal match and victory over Maria Menounos gained Claudia the number one contender status to face Carano for the championship on this night! With the winner heading on as champion to WrestleMania V.
Women's Championship Match: Gina Carano def. Claudia (10:03) via submission to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY: Claudia gave a valiant effort but just wasn't able to put away the dominant unstoppable champion, Carano. Nobody's figured out a strategy quite yet and Claudia became the next victim. Carano forced her into submission and holds on to the belt as she heads into WrestleMania V!

PRESTORY: Last year, Bret Hart eliminated almost everyone in the Royal Battle before falling in the very end to the eventual winner, King Umaga. This year, Bret entered again with WrestleMania aspirations. Bret once again eliminated 6 of his opponents and came to the final two. He pinned Foley, he pinned Orton and as he turned around he was hoisted up onto the shoulders by CM Punk as Punk delivered the Go To Sleep and won the 2010 Royal Battle. Punk became the first person in history to win the Royal Battle twice as he won the first ever (and will also become the first man to headline Mania twice). Bret was lost in disappointment once again. Bret challenged Punk to a one on one match later on as he vowed that he could beat Punk one on one and that Punks' win was pure luck. Punk accepted the challenge, gladly taking on Bret in a battle of mutual respect with both men out to prove to be the better man.
Bret Hart def. CM Punk (12:24) after a piledriver
AFTERSTORY: Bret won the match and proved his point! He defeated Punk as he set out to do and got atleast a little bit of victory back after what happened last month. Punk couldn't believe it after he was pinned. Bret celebrated as Punk got back to his feet. Hart turned around and was suddenly attacked from behind - by the masked man from earlier tonight! The masked man nailed him with a steel chair and beat down Bret in the ring as Punk got back to his feet looking shocked. Punk went over and pulled the masked man off of Bret and shoved him. Punk turned back to Hart and checked on him. Punk turned back to the masked man yelling and arguing with him. Bret got to his hands and knees when Punk suddenly kicked Bret in the ribs! Punk turned around and hugged the masked man. The masked man removed his mask and revealed himself to be Austin Aries!!! Punk and Aries raised their arms in the air as it appeared that the original two members of Generation sXe were back together for the first time since 2006!! A shocking conclusion to Valentine's Massacre that has left even more suspense and intrigue along the Road to WrestleMania!
