PRESTORY:
The WrestleMania cruiserweight scramble was packed full of action. It
saw Sabu go on a tear only for the Miz to steal a pinfall to eliminate
him. Similarly, Sin Cara was on fire before being eliminated by former
junior champ Robert Evans. Now those two pairings are split off into
singles matches to determine the top rankings in the junior division!
Sabu def. The Miz (11:21) with a hurricarana

AFTERSTORY:
Sabu avenges his elimination with a decisive win over the Miz while
Robert Evans impressively defeated Sin Cara. As a result, Sabu and Evans
will meet in a top contenders bout at Redemption!

PRESTORY:
WrestleMania featured a rematch of 2013's match of the year eight woman
tag and it was again a classic. The final pairing showed Arisa Nakajima
and Sumie Sakai display amazing teamwork in defeating Allysin Kay and
Tomoka Nakagawa. Now the two sides would meet again in a traditional tag
team match at Breakout!

After Prince Devitt defeated Justin Gabriel at WrestleMania, he was
attacked by the Nexus group led by Wade Barrett. Now looking for
revenge, Devitt decide to go straight for Barrett and challenged him to a
singles match at Breakout

AFTERSTORY:
Devitt makes a big statement with a major victory! Devitt knocks out
Barrett after an intense battle. After the match, members of Nexus once
again targetted Devitt for an attack but this time Devitt had backup in
the form of Doc Gallows! Doc kept the Nexus at bay and helped Devitt
stand his ground in the ring to celebrate his victory.

PRESTORY:
One of the highlights of WrestleMania's classic eight woman tag was the
story of Meiko Satomura refusing to submit despite a plethora of
submissions until she had no choice in the end. The back and forth
between her and Kana was unforgettable. After the match, it was clear
the two wanted a piece of each other in the ring and the one on one bout
was signed for Breakout!

AFTERSTORY:
Kana puts Meiko down quick in an intense sprint of a match. No doubt
that we haven't seen the last of this grudge as Meiko wants revenge
already and there will be a rematch.

PRESTORY:
Jazz & Marti Belle's battle with the SNS Express has been a heated
one for sure. Jazz & Marti teamed up with Amazing Kong to put down
their opposition at WrestleMania while the SNS gained retribution on a
live event tour following. Now, Nevaeh has stood up to challenge Jazz to
a singles match that was made a lumberjack match with all involved
surrounding the ring!
Lumberjack Match: Jazz def. Nevaeh (14:20) after a bulldog
AFTERSTORY:
Jazz with another defintive victory as she puts down Nevaeh. There
seems to be little doubt that the former multi-time champs Marti &
Jazz are poised for a collision course rematch with the current
champions Trish & Lita. During this match, the lumberjacks got into
it at ringside and after the match, Sassy Stephie made the bold claim
that she wants a match with Amazing Kong at Redemption.

Goldberg made shockingly quick work of Dr. Death en route to the finals
while Hogan went through an absolute war with Batista. The finals will
surely be an intriguing battle when the two titans clash for
contendership!

At WrestleMania, Abdullah the Butcher reigned supreme in the
spectacular opening Bunkhouse Stampede bout. The win earned himself a
shot at hardcore deathmatch champ Ric Flair. Flair has managed to stay
on top against the Flock but now would face a familiar challenge as
Flair beat Abdullah a year ago to earn his initial shot at the
championship. Now they meet again for the title at Breakout!
Hardcore Deathmatch Championship Match: Abdullah the Butcher def. Ric
Flair (10:53) after hitting him with a bat to become the NEW Champion!
AFTERSTORY:
Abdullah demolishes Flair this time in the deathmatch ring! Abdullah
captured the gold and now Flair will be fighting to get it back at
Redemption.

PRESTORY:
The rivalry between Rey Mysterio and Yoshinobu Kanemura has been a
memorable one that has produced some unforgettable matches. Kanemaru
thought he had rid himself of Rey when he last defeated him and went on
to defeat Super J Cup winner Jushin Liger at WrestleMania. But Rey
bounced right back with a major victory of his own at WrestleMania that
earned him another shot at the gold. Now they meet again, this time two
out of three falls!
Junior Championship 2/3 Falls Match: Rey Mysterio def. Yoshinobu Kanemura (17:48) 2 falls to 0 to become the NEW Champion!

AFTERSTORY:
The saga continues! Rey regains the title from Kanemura this time in
two falls. Now it's Kanemura on the outs having to come back to
challenge for the gold. At Redemption, these two will meet one more time
in a thirty minute ironman match!

PRESTORY:
It was a true WrestleMania Moment when CM Punk and Daniel Bryan
captured the tag team championships in a monumental victory over the
dominant former champions Cesaro & Swagger. Punk had been at odds
with them for months and Bryan joined his side to even the odds. Once it
was two on two, new champs were crowned. Now the former champions are
out for revenge and want their gold back. The rematch at FPR Breakout!
World Tag Team Championships Match: Antonio Cesaro & Jack Swagger
def. CM Punk & Daniel Bryan (21:35) when Swagger pinned Bryan with
the Blue Thunder Bomb to become the NEW Champions!
AFTERSTORY:
Cesaro and Swagger prove why they were champions for so long as they
regain the gold in the first chance to do so. It was another hate-filled
battle between these two teams but in the end, new champions were once
again crowned. The grudge will continue when Punk and Bryan now receive
their rematch at Redemption.

King of the Ring Final: Hulk Hogan def. Goldberg (14:15) after a high knee
AFTERSTORY:
Hulk Hogan is the King of the Ring for the second time! Despite the
rough road to the finals, Hulkamania overcame Goldberg in the end to win
the tournament. Hogan dedicated the win to his recent tag champion
partner John Cena, who chose to take time off after being unable to win
the world championship. Traditionally, the King of the Ring winner gets
his title shot at Final Burns in August but this year with no certain
number one contender, the Hulkster has opted to take his title shot as
soon as possible and that will be at Redemption! Hogan vows to win the
championship and bring the gold back to Hulkamania. Hulk is someone who
has beaten Austin in the past and time will tell if he can do it again.

STORY: In a wild opener, Abdullah the Butcher comes out on top of the bunkhouse stampede to earn a future title shot at the hardcore deathmatch championship.

STORY: Lightning strikes twice as Suicide manages to knock out Sabin in the exact same amount of time that he did in the beat the clock challenge late last year! Suicide shocked everyone with such an impressive feat to perform twice in the same style and time as he continues to be a thorn in the side of Sabin.

PRESTORY: Prince Devitt and Justin Gabriel are two stars who came in to FPR at the same time a couple of years ago and have met in the ring before. Most recently, Devitt beat Gabriel in the Super J Cup and in a rematch on the Road to WrestleMania tour. Gabriel insisted that he could beat Devitt and made the challenge for a 2/3 falls match at WrestleMania!

AFTERSTORY: Devitt manages to do it once again with another victory over Gabriel. This time, after the match Devitt was attacked by the Nexus group and left laying in the ring.

PRESTORY: With no clearcut number one contender for the women's championship during the current dominant reign of Daizee Haze, FPR allowed Haze to decide who would get the WrestleMania title shot. Daizee decided to put the shot up for grabs in a match between two of her closest friends who she felt most deserving - Jessie McKay and Serena Deeb. McKay got a shot recently and impressed many while Serena has remained in close contention. The two are former womens' tag team champions and now would meet each other in the ring!

AFTERSTORY: After a fantastic match that saw McKay catch everybody offguard with an out of nowhere School Girl Crush to pick up the win, the two friends shook hands and embraced. Serena wished Jessie luck and told her she deserves the shot. Serena left allowing McKay to celebrate her victory.

STORY: Originally a six man scramble, the match added two more to complete the field for WrestleMania. Made up of the top eight most impressive competitors from the Super J Cup to battle for top contendership. After a wild finishing sequence in the final four, the Miz stole a pin on Sabu leading into Rey Mysterio finishing off the Miz for the big win. Rey now looks ahead to earn another shot at the junior championship.

*Eagles eliminated Matsumoto (30:05) via STF submission
*Satomura eliminated Eagles (37:12) via super cross armbreaker submission

AFTERSTORY: Lightning almost struck twice on the rare one hour draw in this amazing battle! Another match of the year candidate that was just as memorable as the last bout. The exchanges were unforgettable including Satomura's early refusal to submit to Kana's various submissions along with the excellent teamwork displayed in the end stretch by Arisa Nakajima and Sumie Sakai. Arisa and Sumie's double team springboards will go down as one of FPR's most memorable spots. They were the two left standing in victory after Arisa eliminated Allysin Kay with just six minutes left in the match! What a match!

International Championship Match: Akebono def. The Big Show (13:20) after an uppercut to become the NEW Champion!
AFTERSTORY: Akebono shocks the world and upsets the Big Show to become the new international champion! The match is likely to kick off a series between the two giants.

PRESTORY: After teaming up in the women's tag team tournament, things went awry for Sara Del Rey and Victoria following their tournament loss. The two began blaming each other for their defeat and got in to a brawl that had to be separated by officials. Now they would meet each other one on one in the ring at WrestleMania IX!
Sara Del Rey def. Victoria (17:09) with the Royal Butterfly
AFTERSTORY: A great match sees Del Rey overcome the longtime FPR veteran. Victoria has been one of the cornerstones of FPR for the last ten years but there's no doubt that this was a tough loss for her to take. Meanwhile, it's one of Del Rey's biggest as she looks to climb back up the rankings.

Ayako Hamada def. Ivelisse Velez (7:37) via AP Cross CRITICAL
STORY: Ivelisse's attempts to finally prove herself among the elite was not to be as Hamada was just too much on this night. Hamada used two consecutive AP Crosses to put Ivelisse down in this fast paced matchup.

PRESTORY: Among the turmoil in the women's tag team tournament that took place along the Road to WrestleMania, one of the most intriguing was the newest team of the debuting Jessie Belle and returning Sassy Stephie. The duo were an impressive force through the first several rounds until eventually falling to one of FPR's greatest teams, 5 time women's tag team champions Marti Belle & Jazz. After that match, Belle & Jazz were attacked by Stephie & Jessie who were joined by Nevaeh, who had been previously defeated in the tournament by Belle & Jazz. The new trio have formed as the SNS Express and at Valentine's Massacre, the tag rematch saw a similar outcome. Now for WrestleMania, Jessie, Stephie, and Nevaeh would all team up for a six woman tag against Marti, Jazz, and a mystery partner of their choosing!
Six Woman Tag Team Match: Marti Belle, Jazz, & Amazing Kong def. The SNS Express (Jessie Belle, Sassy Stephie, & Nevaeh) (21:58) when Jazz pinned Stephie after the Jazz Stinger
AFTERSTORY: Marti & Jazz ride high with Amazing Kong as their partner at WrestleMania IX! Despite a hard fought battle and another impressive effort, the SNS Express were unable to score the win as Jazz laid out Sassy Stephie with the Jazz Stinger to gain the win. Early word is now that Nevaeh is challenging Jazz to a singles match at Breakout!

Money in the Bank Match: Kurt Angle def. Batista, The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Randy Orton, Triple H, Shane Douglas, & Austin Aries (16:39) with a rollup on Douglas

PRESTORY: In the women's tag team tournament, Aja Kong and Bull Nakano defeated Melanie Cruise and Mayumi Ozaki in round three. Coming out of it, the exchanges between Aja and Cruise were a hot topic. After Nakano and Kong won the tournament, they faced the champions on the Road to WrestleMania tour and Melanie Cruise appeared to get in to it with Aja. After the match concluded, the two fought at ringside and it was clear there was an issue to settle. Now the two face one on one at WrestleMania IX!

AFTERSTORY: It was bomb throwing from the get go and in the end Aja put down the younger Melanie Cruise with a brutal screwdriver. Aja was too much for Melanie this time but Cruise had been on a hot streak before this and she will look to get back on track following the loss.

Octagon Championship Match: Bob Sapp def. Tsuyoshi Kohsaka via KO (punch) at 0:22 of round 2 to become the new champion
STORY: The inevitable occurs after Kohsaka's shocking upset last time around. He'll get a rematch like Sapp did and try to pull out another miracle.

PRESTORY: After Trish Stratus & Lita overcame the seemingly unstoppable team of Aja Kong & Bull Nakano on the Road to WrestleMania tour to retain their championships, a spot was opened up for who would challenge the champions at WrestleMania. FPR decided to go with the #2 contenders and tournament runner-ups, Athena & Jessica James. Trish & Lita welcomed the challenge while Athena & Jessica looked forward to the opportunity after their impressive run in the tournament.
Women's Tag Team Championships Match: Trish Stratus & Lita(c) def. Athena & Jessica James (25:12) when Lita forced Jessica to submit to RETAIN the championships!
AFTERSTORY: After a great match, Trish & Lita retain their championships and continue their great reign on top. Both teams shook hands in a show of respect as the crowd applauded everyone involved.

PRESTORY: The Horsemen vs The Flock saga has been a year long ongoing war. Ric Flair has against all odds managed to keep a hold on the hardcore deathmatch championship while the Flock has tried to wrestle it from him, most notably Toru Owashi. Owashi had failed times in the past to overcome Flair but now earned a third and final shot at the championship that would take place at WrestleMania!
Hardcore Deathmatch Championship Match: Ric Flair def. Toru Owashi (15:58) after a delayed vertical suplex to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY: Flair survives again! Flair won a hell of a battle and earned the hard fought victory. He was joined by the Horsemen on the outside after the successful title defense. After the match, Raven hit the ring accompanied by the rest of the Flock. Raven had told Owashi that he was out if he could not defeat Flair this time around and so he laid out Owashi with the Evenflow DDT. Saturn and Kanemura joined in helping Raven beat down Owashi, seemingly officially kicking him out of the Flock. They dragged him up the ramp where they left him laying before exiting.

PRESTORY: Shane Douglas came back to the ring after losing in the Money in the Bank match. Douglas was unhappy after coming so close to winning the Royal Battle and now this. As a result, Douglas declared he was not done for the night and challenged anyone to come out and face him in a match. His challenge was accepted by FPR legend, Bret "Hitman" Hart and the match was on!

AFTERSTORY: After a classic matchup, Bret pulls out the victory! Douglas was shocked beyond belief at the outcome as he was caught totally by surprise. Douglas left the night vowing to win the upcoming King of the Ring tournament but that will be no easy task.

PRESTORY: Daizee Haze has had an amazing run as FPR women's champion taking on all comers. Now for WrestleMania, Jessie McKay earned the women's championship shot earlier in the night by defeating her friend and partner Serena Deeb. Haze had picked the two friends as the top contenders to see who could earn the shot at the championship. Now McKay has the biggest chance of her career on the grand stage against Daizee! McKay looks to capture the championship for the first time while Daizee looks to cement herself as one of the greatest of all time!
Women's Championship Match: Daizee Haze def. Jessie McKay (19:24) after a facebuster to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY: What a match! Both women gave everything they had in this match of the year contender. McKay came closer than ever and took all the champ had. Daizee had one heck of a challenge on this night. McKay kept kicking out of Daizee's usual finishers and bounced back to hit the School Girl Crush out of nowhere in what looked like the surefire finish to the match but the champion was able to battle back. After the match, both women shook hands and embraced as they raised each others arm in the air to applause from the crowd. In their post-show interviews, Daizee put over McKay as one of her greatest challenges while Jessie feels like she has what it takes to become the champion and wants to earn another shot. Following the match at ringside, FPR legend and former women's champion Candice Michelle was interviewed in the front row about the match that took place, both competitors, and Daizee's reign as champion rivaling Candice's own unforgettable run on top. Candice teased interest in a potential matchup between the two despite her retirement two years ago. For now, Daizee remains on top of the world while Jessie McKay cemented her place near the top of the division.

PRESTORY: The 2014 Super J Cup was an unforgettable one that saw former multi-time junior champion Jushin Liger return to the top with victory after victory. Liger earned the right to challenge junior champ Yoshinobu Kanemaru, who has been on a tear after his breakout year last year. Now the two would meet at WrestleMania IX, the junior division's past vs the new champion!
Junior Championship Match: Yoshinobu Kanemaru def. Jushin Liger (10:17) after the spinning brainbuster
AFTERSTORY: Kanemaru overcomes a big challenge and successfully defends his championship on the grand stage. With Rey Mysterio's big win earlier in the night, he will get another shot at his rival. After their previous two classic matches, they will now meet in a 2/3 falls match for the championship!

PRESTORY: Survival of the Sickest had an unforgettable main event that saw CM Punk stand as the lone survivor after taking out the tag team champions, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro. It kicked off a rivalry between them that eventually led to Punk taking on both men in a handicap match last month. Obviously the odds were too much despite Punk's efforts. After the match however, Punk was saved from an attack by Daniel Bryan and it was clear that Punk had found a partner. It was agreed that the two would challenge the dominant tag team champions in a showcase bout at WrestleMania IX!
World Tag Team Championships Match: CM Punk & Daniel Bryan def. Antonio Cesaro & Jack Swagger (24:08) when Bryan pinned Cesaro with a fisherman's suplex to become the NEW Champions!!
AFTERSTORY: New champions!! Punk and Bryan were able to dethrone the tag team champions in a classic battle. Punk took down Swagger while Bryan finished off Cesaro with a fisherman's suplex to gain the gold. Punk and Bryan celebrated with their newly won championships around the ringside area in a huge victory celebration. Cesaro and Swagger regrouped as they retreated up the ramp and will be looking to gain their titles back as soon as possible. But after WrestleMania, Punk and Bryan are the new team on top and the new tag team champions!

PRESTORY: John Cena won the Royal Battle for the record third time back in January. Cena would earn the chance to once again challenge Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania IX. Cena added that if he did not succeed, he would not challenge Austin again.

AFTERSTORY: Not wanting to end the night on that note, Kurt Angle decided to go ahead and try his hand with a cash in.

PRESTORY: Prince Devitt and Justin Gabriel are two stars who came in to FPR at the same time a couple of years ago and have met in the ring before. Most recently, Devitt beat Gabriel in the Super J Cup and in a rematch on the Road to WrestleMania tour. Gabriel insisted that he could beat Devitt and made the challenge for a 2/3 falls match at WrestleMania!

PRESTORY: With no clearcut number one contender for the women's championship during the current dominant reign of Daizee Haze, FPR allowed Haze to decide who would get the WrestleMania title shot. Daizee decided to put the shot up for grabs in a match between two of her closest friends who she felt most deserving - Jessie McKay and Serena Deeb. McKay got a shot recently and impressed many while Serena has remained in close contention. The two are former womens' tag team champions and now would meet each other in the ring!

AFTERSTORY: After a fantastic match that saw McKay catch everybody offguard with an out of nowhere School Girl Crush to pick up the win, the two friends shook hands and embraced. Serena wished Jessie luck and told her she deserves the shot. Serena left allowing McKay to celebrate her victory.

STORY: Originally a six man scramble, the match added two more to complete the field for WrestleMania. Made up of the top eight most impressive competitors from the Super J Cup to battle for top contendership. After a wild finishing sequence in the final four, the Miz stole a pin on Sabu leading into Rey Mysterio finishing off the Miz for the big win. Rey now looks ahead to earn another shot at the junior championship.

AFTERSTORY: Lightning almost struck twice on the rare one hour draw in this amazing battle! Another match of the year candidate that was just as memorable as the last bout. The exchanges were unforgettable including Satomura's early refusal to submit to Kana's various submissions along with the excellent teamwork displayed in the end stretch by Arisa Nakajima and Sumie Sakai. Arisa and Sumie's double team springboards will go down as one of FPR's most memorable spots. They were the two left standing in victory after Arisa eliminated Allysin Kay with just six minutes left in the match! What a match!

International Championship Match: Akebono def. The Big Show (13:20) after an uppercut to become the NEW Champion!
AFTERSTORY: Akebono shocks the world and upsets the Big Show to become the new international champion! The match is likely to kick off a series between the two giants.

PRESTORY: After teaming up in the women's tag team tournament, things went awry for Sara Del Rey and Victoria following their tournament loss. The two began blaming each other for their defeat and got in to a brawl that had to be separated by officials. Now they would meet each other one on one in the ring at WrestleMania IX!

AFTERSTORY: A great match sees Del Rey overcome the longtime FPR veteran. Victoria has been one of the cornerstones of FPR for the last ten years but there's no doubt that this was a tough loss for her to take. Meanwhile, it's one of Del Rey's biggest as she looks to climb back up the rankings.

STORY: Ivelisse's attempts to finally prove herself among the elite was not to be as Hamada was just too much on this night. Hamada used two consecutive AP Crosses to put Ivelisse down in this fast paced matchup.

PRESTORY: Among the turmoil in the women's tag team tournament that took place along the Road to WrestleMania, one of the most intriguing was the newest team of the debuting Jessie Belle and returning Sassy Stephie. The duo were an impressive force through the first several rounds until eventually falling to one of FPR's greatest teams, 5 time women's tag team champions Marti Belle & Jazz. After that match, Belle & Jazz were attacked by Stephie & Jessie who were joined by Nevaeh, who had been previously defeated in the tournament by Belle & Jazz. The new trio have formed as the SNS Express and at Valentine's Massacre, the tag rematch saw a similar outcome. Now for WrestleMania, Jessie, Stephie, and Nevaeh would all team up for a six woman tag against Marti, Jazz, and a mystery partner of their choosing!

AFTERSTORY: Marti & Jazz ride high with Amazing Kong as their partner at WrestleMania IX! Despite a hard fought battle and another impressive effort, the SNS Express were unable to score the win as Jazz laid out Sassy Stephie with the Jazz Stinger to gain the win. Early word is now that Nevaeh is challenging Jazz to a singles match at Breakout!

PRESTORY: In the women's tag team tournament, Aja Kong and Bull Nakano defeated Melanie Cruise and Mayumi Ozaki in round three. Coming out of it, the exchanges between Aja and Cruise were a hot topic. After Nakano and Kong won the tournament, they faced the champions on the Road to WrestleMania tour and Melanie Cruise appeared to get in to it with Aja. After the match concluded, the two fought at ringside and it was clear there was an issue to settle. Now the two face one on one at WrestleMania IX!

AFTERSTORY: It was bomb throwing from the get go and in the end Aja put down the younger Melanie Cruise with a brutal screwdriver. Aja was too much for Melanie this time but Cruise had been on a hot streak before this and she will look to get back on track following the loss.

STORY: The inevitable occurs after Kohsaka's shocking upset last time around. He'll get a rematch like Sapp did and try to pull out another miracle.

PRESTORY: After Trish Stratus & Lita overcame the seemingly unstoppable team of Aja Kong & Bull Nakano on the Road to WrestleMania tour to retain their championships, a spot was opened up for who would challenge the champions at WrestleMania. FPR decided to go with the #2 contenders and tournament runner-ups, Athena & Jessica James. Trish & Lita welcomed the challenge while Athena & Jessica looked forward to the opportunity after their impressive run in the tournament.
Women's Tag Team Championships Match: Trish Stratus & Lita(c) def. Athena & Jessica James (25:12) when Lita forced Jessica to submit to RETAIN the championships!
AFTERSTORY: After a great match, Trish & Lita retain their championships and continue their great reign on top. Both teams shook hands in a show of respect as the crowd applauded everyone involved.

PRESTORY: The Horsemen vs The Flock saga has been a year long ongoing war. Ric Flair has against all odds managed to keep a hold on the hardcore deathmatch championship while the Flock has tried to wrestle it from him, most notably Toru Owashi. Owashi had failed times in the past to overcome Flair but now earned a third and final shot at the championship that would take place at WrestleMania!
Hardcore Deathmatch Championship Match: Ric Flair def. Toru Owashi (15:58) after a delayed vertical suplex to RETAIN the championship!
AFTERSTORY: Flair survives again! Flair won a hell of a battle and earned the hard fought victory. He was joined by the Horsemen on the outside after the successful title defense. After the match, Raven hit the ring accompanied by the rest of the Flock. Raven had told Owashi that he was out if he could not defeat Flair this time around and so he laid out Owashi with the Evenflow DDT. Saturn and Kanemura joined in helping Raven beat down Owashi, seemingly officially kicking him out of the Flock. They dragged him up the ramp where they left him laying before exiting.

PRESTORY: Shane Douglas came back to the ring after losing in the Money in the Bank match. Douglas was unhappy after coming so close to winning the Royal Battle and now this. As a result, Douglas declared he was not done for the night and challenged anyone to come out and face him in a match. His challenge was accepted by FPR legend, Bret "Hitman" Hart and the match was on!

AFTERSTORY: After a classic matchup, Bret pulls out the victory! Douglas was shocked beyond belief at the outcome as he was caught totally by surprise. Douglas left the night vowing to win the upcoming King of the Ring tournament but that will be no easy task.

PRESTORY: Daizee Haze has had an amazing run as FPR women's champion taking on all comers. Now for WrestleMania, Jessie McKay earned the women's championship shot earlier in the night by defeating her friend and partner Serena Deeb. Haze had picked the two friends as the top contenders to see who could earn the shot at the championship. Now McKay has the biggest chance of her career on the grand stage against Daizee! McKay looks to capture the championship for the first time while Daizee looks to cement herself as one of the greatest of all time!

AFTERSTORY: What a match! Both women gave everything they had in this match of the year contender. McKay came closer than ever and took all the champ had. Daizee had one heck of a challenge on this night. McKay kept kicking out of Daizee's usual finishers and bounced back to hit the School Girl Crush out of nowhere in what looked like the surefire finish to the match but the champion was able to battle back. After the match, both women shook hands and embraced as they raised each others arm in the air to applause from the crowd. In their post-show interviews, Daizee put over McKay as one of her greatest challenges while Jessie feels like she has what it takes to become the champion and wants to earn another shot. Following the match at ringside, FPR legend and former women's champion Candice Michelle was interviewed in the front row about the match that took place, both competitors, and Daizee's reign as champion rivaling Candice's own unforgettable run on top. Candice teased interest in a potential matchup between the two despite her retirement two years ago. For now, Daizee remains on top of the world while Jessie McKay cemented her place near the top of the division.

PRESTORY: The 2014 Super J Cup was an unforgettable one that saw former multi-time junior champion Jushin Liger return to the top with victory after victory. Liger earned the right to challenge junior champ Yoshinobu Kanemaru, who has been on a tear after his breakout year last year. Now the two would meet at WrestleMania IX, the junior division's past vs the new champion!

AFTERSTORY: Kanemaru overcomes a big challenge and successfully defends his championship on the grand stage. With Rey Mysterio's big win earlier in the night, he will get another shot at his rival. After their previous two classic matches, they will now meet in a 2/3 falls match for the championship!

PRESTORY: Survival of the Sickest had an unforgettable main event that saw CM Punk stand as the lone survivor after taking out the tag team champions, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro. It kicked off a rivalry between them that eventually led to Punk taking on both men in a handicap match last month. Obviously the odds were too much despite Punk's efforts. After the match however, Punk was saved from an attack by Daniel Bryan and it was clear that Punk had found a partner. It was agreed that the two would challenge the dominant tag team champions in a showcase bout at WrestleMania IX!
World Tag Team Championships Match: CM Punk & Daniel Bryan def. Antonio Cesaro & Jack Swagger (24:08) when Bryan pinned Cesaro with a fisherman's suplex to become the NEW Champions!!
AFTERSTORY: New champions!! Punk and Bryan were able to dethrone the tag team champions in a classic battle. Punk took down Swagger while Bryan finished off Cesaro with a fisherman's suplex to gain the gold. Punk and Bryan celebrated with their newly won championships around the ringside area in a huge victory celebration. Cesaro and Swagger regrouped as they retreated up the ramp and will be looking to gain their titles back as soon as possible. But after WrestleMania, Punk and Bryan are the new team on top and the new tag team champions!

PRESTORY: John Cena won the Royal Battle for the record third time back in January. Cena would earn the chance to once again challenge Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania IX. Cena added that if he did not succeed, he would not challenge Austin again.
